Incident:
Nanny (I really hope this isn't their mother) on 79 and 1st at screaming at them, embarrassing them and ignoring them as they cried. They were heading to the movies on 86th at and took the M15 up to 86. She also screamed at the person on the phone who was saving them seats at the theater. She made fun of the kids as they got on the bus for whining and then she ignored them on the bus and until she screamed at them when the bus stopped for them to get off the bus. This was beyond an adult being annoyed- this seemed abusive.

Bad Nanny Sighting in Webb Park in San Diego, CA

Location: Webb Park in San Diego
Description of the Nanny: I saw Your Nanny; Hispanic nanny with a large, wide, flat face, straight brownish red hair pulled very tight back, no make up, maybe 50 years old in a black skirt, sandals and a white t-shirt with an 80's style diagonal belt over her t-shirt.
Description of the Child: "Jack" a boy who was 2-3. Dark curly hair, white, blue eyes. He had little (maybe religious) curly q's over his ears and was wearing a striped long sleeve shirt and khaki shorts with brown leather sandals.
Incident: We were at the park in San Diego yesterday. Webb Park is known for it's playground and for feeding ducks. We usually do both. We bring old bread and throw it to the ducks.
As we tossed the bread to the ducks, they clamored to get the bread. They fight over it. It's really very cute, fun, peaceful and relaxing. Unless, of course Satan is there, whipping rocks at the poor ducks, who look excited at first and then freeze in terror as their bills are nearly swiped off their face by the oddly accurate force of this heathen's aim. The nanny walked around with a smile on her face, like this odd, serene smile. Totally unaware of the terror the kid was inflicting. She was taking pictures of the pond and ducks. Every now and then, she would look at the kid and say, "Jack, no throwing rocks" and Jack would say, "I am skipping them" and she would say, "okay". Another child saw a turtle and screamed excitedly at her nanny saying, "A turtle, a turtle!". The little boy charged at the girl picked up a stick and said "We must kill the turtle". Clearly he was doing some sort of pretend play in his head, but it was still not appropriate. The little girl said, "You can't kill a turtle" and then "Jack" said, "Ahah, then I will kill you!". The little girl's nanny stepped and front of her and said, "hey hey now". The little boy retreated but his nanny didn't even seem to register that he's threatening to kill turtles and two year olds! The kid made most of us uncomfortable. Get him some help and start with a nanny that makes sure he isn't hurting helpless animals and children.

Bad Nanny Sighting at Regal New Roc

Location: Regal Theatre New Rochelle, NY
Date: 7/17 1:40 showing of Inside Out
Description of Nanny: I saw Your Nanny, an African American nanny, very thin, with long slender neck. Braided hair in a pony tail, yellow shirt with "runner" logo. Denim jeans. Gold flip flops.
Description of Children: 2 children. One white boy, blonde buzz cut, blue clothing. One girl, pink light up shoes, brown hair with two braids in the front. The girl was probably 3, the boy 5.
Incident: The nanny parked the children and left to go get food. The kids started to fight while she was gone and the boy hit the girl and the girl started crying. I would say 10 minutes the nanny came back and the girl was sitting four seats away no with her knees up and crying. The nanny marched over to her and grabbed her by the arm and yelled at her for moving. She..stll holding the tray of food "led/dragged" the girl back to her original seat. Then she sat down. The girl started to tell her something and the nanny put her hand up and said she didn't want to "hear it now and I damn sure don't want to hear it during the movie." The movie started shortly after. The kids were given like 2 sips of the soda and nine pieces of popcorn, all which they had to beg for. Disgusting display of nannying. Going to see a movie should be fun! And never leave your kids alone at a movie theater, especially NEW ROCHELLE!

Bad Nanny/Au Pair Sighting at White Plains Nordstrom

Where: Nordstrom White Plains, NY
When: 7/8/2015 4:30ish
Description of the Nanny: I saw Your Nanny, or liikely Au Pair, straight reddish blonde hair, pink and white striped blouse, denim capris, white flip flops, no make up, carrying a yellow leather bag with a lion face on it.
Description of the child: "Nathan" White, brown hair, curls, unsure of eyes. Wearing a red t-shirt with yellow writing on it, blue dress shorts and brown sandals. The sandals were brown and green leather.
Incident: The nanny was shopping for bras and really short with the kid who wouldn't stay by her side. She kept yelling "Nathan" and he wouldn't answer because he was being his age and not enjoying her shopping. He hid in a rack of clothes. She huffed over to retreieve each time and each time got progressively rougher. I swear she almost dislocated his arm. She would hold his hand and continue looking at bras and then she would drop his hand as she picked an item and looked at it more closely. As soon as she dropped his hand, he was off. This repeated several times. Then he sat down on her foot and started hitting her on the shins saying he wanted his mommy. "I WANT MY MOMMY I WANT MY MOMMY".  She grabbed him up by the neck of his shirt and told him, "you are rotten, rotten," She threw the things in her hands down and took off to the escalator where she he continued to cry and she just help him with his arm bent back with a pissed off look on her face. As other people passed her by she would say,"you cannot behave like this in a store Nathan, this is not okay, we are going outside". I was going outside to talk to her, planning to approach her and ask if she needed help but we lost them! If you know Nathan's au pair (I can't place her accent but it wasn't run of the mill), let the parents know to observe her when she isn't expecting it and draw their own conclusions.

M96 Crosstown Bus in NYC

Double Bad Nanny Sighting!
I saw boarded the bus and sat behind this pair of nanny friends.
Location:  M96 Crosstown Bus.They got off at W96th./West End
Date: 6/25/15 @ 2pm-ish

Nanny # 1: I saw Your Nanny, a thin, about 5'6" AA nanny (no accent), wearing a white 3/4 sleeve shirt with silver metallic shoulder designs, blue jeans and navy colored 'boat shoes'. Nanny had medium length black hair in braids, worn all back with white beads.
Child #1: girl of about 3, white, reddish, curly hair, wearing an orange and red flowered dress and a yellow windbreaker jacket. White tennis shoes that showed toes.
Incident: The girl was whining and fussing. The nanny was carrying a purple plaid umbrella and the girl wanted to hold it. She was kind of fighting the nanny for it. The nanny kept telling her she was going to hurt herself. The girl kept pulling at it. The nanny handed it to her by holding it up right and stomping it on her foot. The girl immediately started crying. The nanny said, "see I told you were going to get hurt".The nanny was trying to read a book and everytime the girl reached for her or something the nanny moved away from her with disgust.

Nanny #2: I saw Your Nanny, a short, heavyset, wearing a multi color blue marble swirl colored mumu style dress, white tennis shoes with no socks, an ace bandage on one of her angles. She had her hair up in a bun with a colorful scarf wrapped around her hair. She spoke with a Caribbean accent.
Child #2: A boy she called Petey. Brown hair, blue and white horizontal strip shirt, blue pants, sandals.
Incident: This boy had a cold or bad allergies and kept sneezing. He sneezed and snot came out all over his face. I know because the nanny said, "Oh you disgusting, where's your tissue? Where's your tissue? I told you to bring the tissue".  She asked her friend for a tissue. She didn't have it. I offered her a tissue. She took it and gave it to him. The boy started crying and said "help, its grossy" and she said, "I am not touching your grossy,that's disgusting, wipe your nose boy". And for the next minute, instead of just helping a boy she called gross, she kepts saying, "boy you better wipe that nose". He was crying and she finally helped him only because she was afraid it was going to get on her precious dress! She grabbed the tissue and held the back of his head with such force.I was getting so angry at this woman. I wanted to say something but she was so angry about everything. The boy was wearing a sandal which either fell of or he kicked off as she was wiping his face. She picked it up off the floor and whacked him somewhere with it., I couldn't see where, but it was on his body. He started whining more. She said, "Oh now you're being silly, I didn't do anything". I think she was aware I was watching her by then. I don't know if his name was Petey or it was a nickname. She called him Poopy Petey like three times that I heard.

These two left the bus together talking about being hungry and wanting to get a sandwich.

3 Subway (Upper West Side) NYC

Incident: On Monday morning (June 22nd, 2015) at about 10 am I was on my way to work (on the subway 3, Bronx bound - I walked in on 42nd and my exit was on 96th) when I saw Your Nanny.  I had a chance to witness this nanny's behavior towards her charge.
     The little girl was playful and kept asking her nanny questions and playing with the fringes on the nanny’s purse. Throughout my entire ride nanny was silent, looking in front of herself rather than communicating with her charge. However, the part that drew my attention was when the nanny took her phone out and her charge started touching it demanding nanny's attention. The nanny finally started 'communicating' by telling the little girl to stop bothering her and at some point she shouted at her her charge: ‘do you want me to hit you?’. That’s when the girl stopped touching her phone, and I might be wrong.. but it seemed like that wasn’t the first time this little girl heard that.
     My exit was on 96th street and thats when I took the photo, but the nanny&her charge continued the ride.I am hoping that girls parents will see this and take a closer look at whom they hired to take care of their child.

Description of Nanny: I saw Your Nanny, she had thick, curly brown hair with red highlights, hispanic with a large round face but normal body. Wearing jeans, hi top tennis shoes and a rose tatoo style tanktop.
Description of Child: Chubby Boy, between 2 & 3 years old. Dark hair, blue-blue eyes. Sat in black Bugaboo Bee style stroller with white canopy.
Incident: Beautiful Day. That's why so many people were out at the park. This little guy wanted to get out of his stroller and the whole time he was there, she just sat at a bench and kept him in there while she read from a tela- novella type magazine. The boy had words enough to ask "play now? now play?" and even tried to climb out of the stroller. Every time he did, she pacified him with food. Including, his juice, which when was empty, she refilled from her can of A & W root-beer. The whole time she was just shoving food at him. Bags of colored cereal, little crackers, even what looked like gummy worm type candy, and not a little bit.  This bothered me because of the food, the kid was already chunky, he wasn't allowed physical activity and the nanny didn't even have to look up from her book or scold him. You could tell this was their routine. Very sad!

Description of Nanny: I saw Your Nanny. The Nanny was white, medium height and weight, was wearing silver ballerina flats, blue knee length shorts, young enough to still have comlexion issues. Carrying a blue and silver bag with a large nautical rope on it.

Description of Child: Two children, very close in age or possibly twins. White, olive complexions, about 4 years old. The boy has straight brown hair on the long side and was wearing frayed denim jeans and pink crocs. The girl had brownish hair with orange in it the same straight texture as the boys and it was cut in a blunt bob, probably recently. The girl was wearing a pink dress with a white apron and white dress shoes with lace socks.

Incident: I was sitting near them reading. The nanny had called them over to take a break and have lunch. The girl was hungry and sat down and started to unpack and eat what is in front of her. The boy refused to sit down at all, and started to run from her. She let him get closer and then pulled him down by his ankle. It was unnecessarily rough. The boy then sat with his shirt over his head and said he hated her. She told him he couldn't play until he ate half of his sandwich. She said this a few times. Finally, he came out of his shirt and said "fine". She handed him a sandwich in a bag and he started complaining that it was squishy. He went from complaining to full on melt down in 3 seconds. The way she handled it was to reach over with her fist and smash the sandwich REALLY hard. This scared him into silence and he again withdrew into his shirt. The little girl petted his head through the shirt and told him it was okay.  Then the little girl got up to go play. The nanny gave her 20 more minutes. The kid sat with his end under his shirt the whole time. Maybe this kid has issues, I don't care, there's a better way to handle things. I couldn't take a picture because I was too close.

Vanderbilt Street Playground in Brooklyn, NY

Date: 6/16 Tues. around 2 PM
Nanny: I saw Your Nanny, an African Americam medium complexion, natural hair, tall, wearing teal capris and a white t-shirt that said Cape Cod.
Child: African American (definitely her charge,not child). 3.5? Medium height and weight, wearing khaki shorts and a red checkered shirt with red and yellow PUMA tennis shoes.
Incident: I don't know if I would call this a full on bad nanny sighting but I wouldn't want her caring for my child. She had no patience. She had no interest in the child. She spent time on her cellphone making plans to go "raging tonight". The language she used was not appropriate for a child and the euphemisms she used were so transparent. I wouldn't have said anything but when her child took my son's soaker pen and shot her on the back of her legs, she said, "You little shit" and grabbed the thing away from him so hard, he started crying. See, I know some people can say, "you little shit" and be joking. She wasn't. Then she throws the squirting pen across the playground. I was looking at her like "what the?" but she was completely oblivious to everything except, gasp,.. the trickle of water on her capris.

Paulus Hook Waterfront in Jersey City

Incident:  I saw Your Nanny! As I walked toward this woman, I noticed that she was hunched over. I was about to approach her to (1) check if she was breathing, and, if so, tell her to wake up, and (2) put the sunshield down (the sun was shining directly on the baby's eyes, and that stroller has a grey UV sunshade for this purpose), when she, in her slumber, fell forward and caught herself just before falling off of the bench. When she fell over, a nice gentleman of approximately the same age asked her if she was okay and she either mumbled something or said nothing at all before making a quick exit toward the marina (away from the park that overlooks the Colgate clock). The baby was awake and kicking the entire time (I could see the little legs moving), and the caretaker never had her hands on the stroller while she was dozing. During the time it took for me to reach her, I also noticed several other adults, children, and dogs walking in close proximity to her and the baby, and this woman never stirred.

Errant Waste Disposal/Bad Nanny at Bruce Park

Description of Nanny: I saw Your Nanny. She was a Hispanic or Peruvian, about 5'1", chubby, wearing tight denim capris and a white t-shirt with a big egyptian eye on it that had jewels and stuff.
Description of child: light skinned African American or bi racial boy of about 2.5-3. Wearing brown cargo shorts, white shirt with a colar and puppy on the breast pocket and green camoflauge sporty sandals.
Incident: The boy was on the double slide and the nanny was waiting at the bottom for him. Everything was fine. I was walking my little up to the other side and running down. The nany realized the boy had pooped in his pants and pulled him off the slide. I saw her check his pants. Then she was sitting there thinking what to do. (Really??) Then the next thing I know she has her hands in his pants and pulls out a flattened turd with a paper towel and flings it in to the bushes to the right of the slides. Do you know how unsanitary that is? I just stared at her but she looked at me and like through me like "you didn't see anything". I left the area. I think discarding of feces in such a grotesque way puts all of us at risk for disease, not too mention the littering.

Description of Nanny:  Hispanic, smashed in looking flat face, brownish hair, petite but with a muffin top, wearing a pink lady's style blouse, possibly denim shorts, pants or Capri, with tennis shoes and socks.
Child: Boy of about 10-14 months. Strawberry blonde, straight hair, wearing a big bird shirt and sitting in a Bob three wheeled teal and black stroller.

Incident: I was getting my children out of their car seats. I thought I had seen someone bent over looking for something between the next two cars, so after I had my children out and their hands, we walked by cautiously. There was a nanny with a stroller right next to her peeing between two cars in the middle of the parking lot. There are restrooms in that strip mall. This was in the middle of the day. She had her pants/shorts around her ankles, so if someone would have grabbed the baby, then what? What perverts would have been attracted to her and the kid? There are people who have fetishes just like this. I also didn't like that my three year old said "I see a butt". Why does my child need to see your ass in the middle of errand running on Friday morning? And what the hell did you drink that you were still splattering when I reached the entrance and turned to look back to see your head still between the cars? I waited inside the glass door and watched because I wanted to see what car was hers. Well, she walked away from both cars and towards the direction of the supermarket building.

Bad Nanny Sighting at Dobbs Park in Croton on Hudson

Description of Nanny: AA Nanny had a very round, cherubic, sweet face, brown curly hair, hazel eyes, spoke with a little bit of a lilt, dark blue jeans, white tank top, white sweat shirt. Very pleasant looking female.

Description of Child: Girl, brown wirey hair, some freckles. Wearing blue sundress that reminded me of Carmen Miranda.
Incident: They were sitting on the grass by the bleachers. I only noticed them because I heard the nanny ask to taste her ice cream. The little girl said no. The nanny asked about three more times and then she backhanded the entire ice cream cone so it went flying like 10 feet. This little girl started screaming. We all looked at her. The nanny said, "Why did you do that" and the little girl said, "you did it, you're mean" and the nanny said, "You shouldn't have done that, now we are going home". And with that she grabbed the girl by the wrist led her up and led her home. No, it isn't huge but still, she works with children? I would expect a whole lot more!

Incident: I couldn't believe what I just saw. I saw Your Nanny,  pushing three kids in a stroller meant for two, with one sitting on top.  If this were my nanny, I'd be livid.

Description of the Nanny: Hispanic, pitted complexion, chubby, bushy eyebrows and hair, Mickey Mouse long shirt (like a nightgown?) and short leggings in grey.
Description of the Child: Caucasian boy with very blonde hair and pale skin, wearing pastel plaid shorts and a very dirty t-shirt with superheroes on it. Probably 4-5 years old.
Incident: Nanny or babysitter was on her phone the entire time. Not such a big deal except she was absolutely clueless about where the kid was and what he was doing. They have some springy animals and vehicles on coils. He was climbing underneath them, sneaking up on other kids. This would have been fun, if it weren't so dangerous. He snuck underneath a pink car that another boy was on riding really enthusiastically. So the kid crashes into his car. He laid there crying underneath the thing and didn't move so he got popped like four more times. I looked around and didn't see who was watching him. I had to pull him out from under there. When I pulled him out, I asked where his Mom was but he took off running after kicking woodchips toward me. I had to go back to my own THREE children, so I wasn't watching him. I was waiting for my daughter to come down the long slide. I just had directed her old brother to walk her up there and stand with her. the little cretonne comes next to them and jumps in front of my daughter and slides down towards me. He was kicking his feet like he was swimming- I think in hopes to hit me. I stood back as he flew by and told my daughter to wait. When the kid passed me, I got a whiff of purr unadulterated shit. The kid had just shit his pants. It was too late to stop my daughter who slid down right after him, Lord only knows what feces drippings she mopped up with her sundress. So the kid starts picking up woodchip and throwing it at an adult and a child.The adult says to me, "can you make him stop" I look at her and say, "He's not mine!". She looks confused, stands up and looks around. We see sitting with her ass on a table, under a Ramada the above mentioned Hispanic. She's calm as a cucumber, twirling her hair. The woman asks him, "Is that your Mom?" He says, "That's my babysitter". The woman looked at me and I said, I'll walk him over there, just keep mine here. And I walked towards her. You would think she would have walked towards me since I am walking with her child. What if I was going to bolt to the parking lot? When I reacher her, she looked dramatically up from her phone and said, "yessss?". I asked, "Are you supposed to be watching him". She says into the phone, "I have to go now and deal with this lady" and then to me she says, "I am having a private adult phone call. I can see him fine, I just didn't want to have a conversation that kids could hear." I don't even know what that meant. I felt really bad for him then and I said, "I think he needs you, He may need to use the bathroom. have a good day" and walked away. He started screaming to go back to the playground. She caught the smell and said, "Oh no, Billy, did you do a poopie??" Well she wasn't mean about it. What she did is lickity split pulled off his pants, pulled out the underwear, flung the big, flat turd over her head (ie towards the picnic tables) and then put his shorts back on. She shoved the underwear in her striped, canvass bag, from which she then pulled out a bag of green grapes and walked towards the playground with him where she let him play more. I gathered my kids and got the hell out of dodge.

Leif Ericson Park in Brooklyn, NY

    This is part rant, part bad nanny sighting. I was at the playground on Monday afternoon at around 5:20 and a nanny was there with her charge. The charge was a white girl, about 3-4, very petite, blonde long hair, pink bow, wearing blue track pants and a white shirt with an American flag design on it. The nanny was biracial, light skinned black, no accent, very tall, with a solid, not fat build and blonde hair. She was wearing brown Capri pants and a white flouncy shirt with brown sandals with lots of buckles and her toenails were painted very purple.

     The nanny was sitting there reading a People Magazine while the girl played. When the girl called out to her, whatever she said, the nanny said "uhhum" and never looked up. Finally the girl came over and said she was thirsty. The nanny pulled out a squirting water bottle and gave it to her. the kid kind of spun around and took awhile with the water. You could tell right away the nanny was annoyed, she didn't get back to her book. Then the kid squirted the water towards the nanny, barely getting her magazine wet. The nanny grabbed the water bottle and squirted the rest of it at the girl's face. The girl immediately was shocked and started crying. Another nanny sitting about ten feet from her said, "Hey, was that necessary?" The nanny with the People Magazine said, "Natural consequences." and then the nanny with the People Magazine patted the girl and tried to calm her down. 5 minutes later the girl went back to play on the playground. The nanny who had said something to her walked over and said, "I'm not trying to tell you how to your business, but.." and the other nanny said, "Don't" and then she went back to her magazine. The other nanny started to say, "there's a better way" and the People magazine nanny said, "Fuck you bitch, you don't know shit and you better get the fuck out of my face". Mind you, this is fifteen feet from where the kids are playing and I heard it as clear as day. So the nanny who was seemingly trying to do the right thing totally changed her attitude and said, "Who the fuck you calling a bitch, bitch?"

     Now, seriously, other people around are looking at what is going on. The mom nearest them put her daughter in a stroller and left the park. But it didn't end there. The People magazine nanny said, "Fuck you damn bitch, do I need to stand up" and the other nanny said, "No you need to be a little better at your job". The people magazine nanny said, "Bitch, if I stand up, you're going down". It was totally tense right there, even the girl with the People Magazine nanny was looking over. The other nanny said, "Bitch, I'll fuck you the fuck up, but not hear, so stay on your fat ass". Now the three year old girl is running over to her nanny, probably not hearing everything and maybe not even related, but thank God, because she STOPPED from getting up and the kid jumped in her arms. The girl then asks the nanny, "Please can we go home now".

     So, as a nanny myself, this was way too much. I didn't want to get involved because it was wholly inappropriate on a playground. I also feared they would both turn on me. I feel really bad for the 3 year old girl, because I don't know what she understood, but it seemed to me she felt RESPONSIBLE. I initially admired the nanny who said something to the other nanny but she didn't maintain her composure during the interaction which in my opinion made it worse for the little girl, or maybe not worse, but just as bad as the water on her face.  But at the same time, I didn't have the courage to say something and I thought it was really wrong when she squirted the water in the girl's face, like clearly her magazine was too important to her. But what happens if you say something to a nanny or parent who is mistreating the child and they get aggressive? I think the only thing at that point you can do is say, "have a good day" and walk away.

Where: I saw Your Nanny getting in to a cab in NYC on West End & West 85th.

Description of Nanny: AA nanny with hair pulled tightly in the front and white beeds in back. No make up. Regular height and weight regular to thinnish. Wearing black converse low tops, hot pink skinny jeans, black blouse with very colorful print top underneath. What happened: The nanny was waiting for a cab for maybe five minutes max. She had her cell phone out and was doing something on the phone, and paying no mind to the girl who was twirling around and around. Very dangerously near the curb. I yelled, "HEY, WATCH HER" and she looked at me, glared and snatched the girl to her side so roughly. I stopped in my tracks to look at her to let her know I am seeing her. Then a cab pulls up. She shoved that little girl in the can so roughly, her feet were not even on the floor. When she got in on the seat, the nanny literally rolled her over. She was so rough, angry and not caring at all. Sad.

Description of child: White, boy of about 3 years old, round face, dark brown hair, wearing a long sleeve white shirt with a cartoon of a walking hamburger on it.
Description of the vehicle: 4 door, white Toyota Camry, 2011-2013, tinted windows.
Incident: The nanny was on her cell phone most of the time, even when the boy was playing in the saucer and being pushed around by an older boy who was clearly sick, dripping snot from his nose and being physically aggressive with this boy. When the boy was playing he would yell occasionally, "I need to go to the bathroom,"but nanny didn't respond or look up. Finally, an Asian woman took him by the hand to the nanny and said, "He needs to go to the bathroom". The nanny responded really sweetly to the lady, as if it was the first time she heard it. She got up and walked to the bathroom, as they got parallel to the bathroom area, the nanny started talking really tersely to him. The kid had crapped his pants and she was trying to chastise him as harshly as she could without alerting other people. I was watching her the whole time. She acted like the kid had done something wrong. I heard her say, "you kept playing with shit in your pants?". She never touched the kid but grabbed him by the elbow and told him that he had ruined his time at the park and they had to go home now. When she got closer to the park she didn't say anything but sighed in my direction (expecting sympathy?). As she made her way to the parking lot, she started getting louder and telling him he "would NEVER play at the park again, NEVER" and "see what you've done.

Description of Nanny: White, Irish looking nanny. Wearing tight jeans, a spandex long sleeved shirt. a gold cross and wedge sandals with a good heel. Pushing a Blue and tan umbrella stroller.
Description of Child: 14-20 month old boy. Brown hair, wearing jean jacket, jeans, hiking boots and able to walk. Boy was drinking out of yellow sippy cup with a big bird head on it.
Situation: I am not a nanny or a mom. I am a girlfriend. I was surprised to see a nanny with her kid she nannies for watching a group of street toughs play ball in the park. The language was rough. The game was heated. This was no kind of atmosphere for a 14-20 month old child. I know for a fact that she was the nanny because she said she had to go, but she'd be off at 630 and would meet him back here at Subway. This is one of the guys she was watching and salivating over. There were no other kids this age at this park. At one point the boy got cranky and wanted out. She didn't want to leave her spot so she let him out, but he was nearly plowed over by one of the guys. They play hardcore here. It's not a place for babies. Or nannies. I'm guessing you didn't know your nanny was there. She looked Irish but didn't have an accent.

Dougie's Nanny at Sagamore Playground in Bronxiville

Description of Child: Doug/Dougie. Dirty blonde, curly hair. Approx 4 years old, wearing grey and green sweatshirt
Description of Event: I saw this and it made me so mad. Not because she broke the bench, or even because she laughed about it. But because she was so out of shape that even after she broke the table, she just moved to another. She had a four year old child she was watching and the child was everywhere. He would say, "come watch this" and she would say "Uhmm hmmm" and never look up from her phone. Since she couldn't chase him, she spent the whole 45 minutes there yelling at him. He ran over to her at one point and took off his grey and green sweatshirt and said he was hot and through at her. It was still chilly. So after a few minutes, she started yelling at him to come and get his sweatshirt. She must have said come here about 20 times. And yes, she broke a bench. I wanted to take a picture of her and the bench, but I thought it would be humiliating to her and seem mean and like it was a weight thing. Really, it is about the level of care she was able to provide to a very active child.
