i was watching to see any comments to see if my view is reasonable so let me jump in - this thing about the hair is annoying and unfortunate - but IMO it's not a deal breaker IF - you love the child and are being paid a rate that you are happy with. People tend to do as they wish in their own home...keep us posted ;)
Just ask her if she minds rinsing the tub out before you use. It would only take her 2 minutes to do.
It may be their home. But since they have outside help they should make a employee feel comfortable.
As I don't do cleaning of bathrooms, for me to bathe a child the tub/bathroom need to already be clean. I would have walked into that bathroom and walked back out. When MB came home I would inform her I was unable to bath the child and wait for her to ask why, then state why.
When you say Hair, are you talking body hair-- eww either way.
i was not making a positive value judgement about the hair, and i agree with the suggestions - try to do it in a upbeat way - it can go either way - the mom may be offended or she might be nice and clean the hair - i was just stating that people can be rude and unreasonable in their own home and for the nanny to be careful - keep us posted
