I found a spyware program on my Iphone called "spyera" on my Iphone. I was going through my phone deleting files to free up space. I found it and researched it and it is a paid application. The only people I know who have money to pay for an app like that or a reason are my employers. I showed my friend and she agreed it was definitely intentional. We also discovered a second piece of spyware on my phone called Family Locator. This would allow real time tracking of my location 24/7. In combination with the other spyware option, I feel completely invaded. I am writing to know if anyone knows of any lawyers or people I could contact regarding this. I haven't changed anything as to not tip anyone off, but I am definitely not texting the same way I did before. I would really like to trace the software and sue the pants off my employer. I live in the South Jersey area. I can understand why someone would want to track the nanny, but I think they should ask. As far as the spyware- No way. My texts and emails and social media is my business. I have been with this family 14 weeks and I came with this phone. It is in my name and I pay the bill.

Before you try to sue them - I would confirm that they put this on your phone. How would they have assess to it? Can you contact the app directly to see who paid/installed this on your phone ?
I'm with PP. How did they access your phone to download spyware? Do you live in? Could they have gotten your phone while you slept? I'd check the install date on the app. Contact the app company. They should have records of who paid for this app.
Forget the app company. They won't release any information to you. Companies selling those apps have everything in fine print to protect them against possible lawsuit.
I'm posting from the 'other side'. I have myself installed a spy app on my boyfriend phone. Knew his location 24/7, read message, email, see pictures/videos and RECORD ALL CALLS! Even access to Facebook, Twitter, instagram etc. Yes, he was cheating and it's now my Ex.
Whoever put that app on your phone, there is no hard proof for you to get that this person did it.
Try to figure it out by when the app was installed. Where have you been and with whom at that time.
Lawsuit, I think that's tricky... but I'm not in that profession.
Its a paid app....so they paid either through their cell phone or CC. I suggest checking their cell phone bill and statements. But, be forewarned, if they did, they likely have nannycams inside the home as well.
Do not do this. If you tried to sue them and your proof was obtained illegally, what do you think is going to happen?
let us know what happens - for these people to invade your privacy is wrong and should be illegal - keep us posted
Omg! I swear sometimes I think my phone is tapped!
