Another Worst Parent Award Nominee for `09 [Video] OK, we`ve seen a lot of bad parents in 2009, but this parent overseeing her child`s birthday party will probably win.
Note: The Original Video was taken down from the I-am-Bored.com site. Here is a Link to the new one: www.datzhott.com
Special thanks to Christina for locating the Video.

Wow, that's... wow.
I'm not sure what to think, they're just dancing right, but they're old enough to know what's going on and young enough to be so innocent of it.

It feels wrong to have this out there, that's just my instinct.

Am I a prude?

WOW...That is just beyond me. Really? The part where the girl is up on the wall with her legs wrapped around the boy and the woman goes up to her and starts thrusting her into him??? Is this a normal thing where they live? I don't even think its ok for adults to dance like that. It's dry humping. Like sex with clothes on. Ewww. Double ewww, and sadness that these kids are subjected to this. :(

the woman on this video needs to be investigated, this is disturbing! the most horrible thing i have ever seen!

This explains the high latina teen birthrate....
There is something wrong with these people (not Hispanics but the people in this video). If this had been a video of my childs party, I would be at my police headquarters right now on child porn charges.
Is this an isolated thing or is this a cultural phenomenon?...Anyone?...

All I could think of during this was "Oh, so that's how the other kids at my school knew how to do that- they started early".

I remember going to junior high and high school dances and being mystified at where the other kids had picked this stuff up. The days of putting your arms straight out on a boy's shoulders and swaying back and forth end pretty quickly.

Holy hell.
I especially liked (NOT) where the adult women let the preschooler hump them.
Several parents were in attendance. all need to be investigated/reprimanded/forced to take parenting classes.

Maybe they want their children to get started early becoming/acquiring Baby Mammas, so that they will be sure to have the requisite number of 8 before age 20? You know, these days it's so hard to make it on DFC unless you have many, many children,by several different men...all of whom have abandoned them.

I didn't even need to get headphones from the help desk here at the library to hear what the adults were saying. The dancing spoke for them.

In the hood, it is common for black children to dance in that nature, yet in the hoods I have lived and worked in, I have never seen parents allow that kind of dancing. The boy in the teal striped shirt had his hands dangerously close to the girl's private parts, if you look closely. Dancing is cute when children do it, however, the video didn't show children dancing. It showed parental consent to have sex. Imagine what would have happened had the children been unsupervised.

Most of these children were old enough to know what kind of dancing they were doing. I would allow my school age classes to listen to music, however, we would do a "drill", similar to a dance routine to various songs throughout the summer and school year. I never ever ever allowed this kind of dancing, the directors didn't allow this kind of dancing, and the parents didn't encourage this kind of dancing. There are parents who live in the ghetto that raise their children right, and there parents in the ghetto who are ghetto. Watch the video again if you can stomach it and tell me if you think these parents are just families who live in the ghetto or if they are families who are ghetto. There is a difference.

well said missDee. I totally agree.

I have worked in many inner-city areas and once I led an after-school cheerleading group of 6th grade girls. Once I came into class and they were doing a cheer that went:

"My head hurts, my bra's too tight, my booty shakes from left to right..."

And I of course told them that it was completely inappropriate. Of course kids are learning early these days, and they will do what they do on their own time, but we as adults have a responsibility to tell them what is right and what is wrong. It has nothing to do with culture: just as bad as the mom in this tape would be an upper-class white parent who buys their under age teens alcohol for parties, which happens quite a bit. It happened recently, actually, in a rich suburb of the city in which I live, and the parents were arrested.

But overall, it is true that there are parents who live in the ghetto, and there are parents who ARE ghetto. There IS a difference.

Thank you MM. It doesn't have to do with race, but common sense.

That was just so disturbing. Seriously. This just proves that some people should not be parents. Jbird:you are most certainly not a prude. That was sick and like someone else said, this mother should be investigated.

HOLY SH*T!!

WHY are these parents not in jail?!

I too watched this muted first but even with the sound, I can't fathom how this could NOT be considered criminal: 10-15 minors being encouraged to hump & grind while a bunch of adults stand around to critique and physically rearrange the kids as to ensure the most sexual body contact--sounds like that could be classified as a number of sex crimes!

I know dancing is cultural or based on where you grew up and I've seen 5 yo's get crunk--but they weren't "dancing" on each other...
Then there's the 4-6 yo girl on her hands and knees while a 10-12 yo literally thrusts her into the concrete... At least some of the kids knew it was explicitly sexual--Just look at the older boys faces!!

I think if it were presented in a custody case, the mom would lose her kids. Who knows: maybe we will be reading about it in the news soon!

Am I just not seeing a link for the video? It says you have to see it on liveleak and when I go there I can't find the video

just another mommy said...

The very first words are a link if you hover over it, you can right click and then say open in new tab. That will take you right to the horrific video.

Honestly, I don't know how this mother has not had all her chidren taken from her! But just think of all those children at the party whose parents were not there to witness it! I'm sure they didn't intend for their children to act like prostitots, but there you have it!

TC said...

just a mommy.....I tried that and in big red letters it says you can't watch it on that link anymore....

I can't see the video either! And it's killing me! I want to see what all the hoopla is about. But the video seems to be moved/removed and is lost in cyberspace.

I did a pretty in-depth search and cannot locate the Video now... not even on LiveLink.com (which I actually thought was a misprint and they meant to say LiveLeak.com) because that site is full of bad parent videos... I just don't have the time to go through every one to look for the URL to re-post it here. My apologies for those that missed the original video.

If anyone out there wants to look around for it and earn a big cookie award, I am sure the Readers would appreciate it. ;)

Clover, I don't think that is the one that was originally posted(based on some of the comments here) but it has certainly got to be just as bad. How dispicable! I've searched all over for the original video but I keep coming back to the "i am bored" site.

just another mommy,

It looked like a lot of the moms were in attendance. And all of the little "prostitots" were pretty skilled at their "dances," so I suspect they have been dancing before,, and that their mommies don't really care (whether they were there to witness this particular dance party or not.) No, I take that back...the moms
actually encourage it.
I showed the video to my 23 year old son this morning and after about 30 seconds he refused to watch anymore. His comment was that it's typical...and he said that those parents won't probably be in trouble, because in the social environment they live in, this is just normal behavior. I hope that's not true. I would like to see some kids removed from those homes so that they have at least a minimal hope, if it's not to late, of growing up to be something other than baby mamas and indiscriminate fertilization machines.

Seriously, if a parent is willing to dry hump their preschooler on video and thinks it's cute, what must the rest of that child's home life be like?

Christina found the correct Video... thank you for the trouble. I know it is disturbing to watch but the discussion that follows Publishing things like this is what is important.

So... chocolate chip, oatmeal? ;)

Uhmm, it's sad to say this, but probably this mother won't be in any kind of trouble. "Perreo" dance is quite popular among low-income people in central and south america. For the accent I can say that this video was filmed in central america. I'm from Southamerica,I haven't actually seen anything as extreme as this video, but I had seen 5 year old doing this kind of movements (never when dancing with another kid, thankfully),and parents founding it funny. Teenagers do dance like this, but usually not in front of their parents.

Actually here is the US, I went to "chaperone" a 15 year old boy party, and they were doing this exact kind of dance. And these kids weren't gettho at all, they were all from private schools from the DC area.

I guess this is more a trend than and actual exception.Gosh, I'm worried about my future children.

How about sugar cookies? Or snickerdoodle?

cali mom said...

The video seems to have been moved and I can't see it. Anyone have the new link??

TC said...

Wow is all I can say but if we allow things like libby lou and Sweet and Sassy then we can't really complain about this now can we? Both 'stores' cater to children and both stores dress young children in provocative clothes and then parade them around in front of adults and have them dance provocatively.

cali mom said...

Disgusting. That's it. Unfortunately probably not considered criminal since it supposedly happened outside the US, but disgusting and sad nonetheless. (I read further and sw the new link).

MaryPoppin'Pills said...

Yeah, snickerdoodles rock! Me and my kid tried those for the first time a few months ago! lol
