Can we get a round of applause for all the wonderful mothers those who stay home with their children AND those who go through exhaustive measures to find the best nanny or daycare to leave their children with in their absence. It isn't easy for anyone and I have great admiration for those working mothers who at the end of the day are called nanny's name 7 times or are told for the third time what a great time that had with nanny and who smile and pat their child's head, even though it doesn't not hurt! Inspired by a post I did not understand on another entry, I say;
to selfless mothers everywhere-
Enjoy your day and realize how monumental your work is as a mother!

speaking of moms and mother's day, you should link the story of David Hasselhoff's nanny. His ex was a horrible mom who never spent anytime with her kids. Who did? becky. The nanny. Now she is going to be the "smoking gun" in the divorce case.

HOLLYWOOD - A former nanny could be the smoking gun in David Hasselhoff's custody battle for his kids after his attorneys persuaded her to come forward with tales about his ex-wife's drug use.
And now Hasselhoff's attorneys hope to prove Bach is an unfit mother, by calling in the testimony of the couple's one-time nanny, Becky.

Lawyer Marci Levine says, "She clearly was the nanny almost the children's entire lives and she was closely bonded to both of the children."

And the lawyers have clearly struck a nerve because an angry Bach lashed out at the nanny, even refuting that was her title, during an interview with talk-show host Larry King earlier this week.

I call my former nanny a lot of things, but I have never called her a smoking gun.
