My oldest son will go to school Mon-Fri and will need to be picked up around 3:30pm every day and you will need to make sure he does his home work. My youngest son will be in pre-school part time and need help with reading, flash cards, art and playing when he is not in school. He get’s home around noon and will need to be picked up most days. He starts kindergarten in August and pick-ups will be later around 2pm or so. Are you kidding? $500 a month for TWO kids. Try more like $800-$1,000! Even if they do take naps. I make $200 a WEEK working 3 days a week taking care of one child all day and his sister before/after school. During the Summer it goes up to $250 a week. When those kids went to a daycare center the parents were paying over $400 a week. The boy I watch takes naps too, but I don't get reduced pay because of it because I still have to be there.

Hello! We are looking for a childcare provider who is interested in coming into our home to provide care for our 5 year old daughter. She will be starting Kindergarten this fall, so full time work would be until she starts school and from there it would be before/after school care, as well as care on her days off from school. The hours would be 730AM until, at the latest 5PM, with most of your days ending at 4-430PM. We are on a tight budget, so the pay would be $180 per week. You are welcome to eat at our house while working and you are not expected to clean our house. This is strictly to practice with our little girl, the things she already knows and help her with the things she is learning. This is just a helpful hint, but I think you need to be looking for a home childcare and or before/afterschool care. I understand you are on a tight budget, but $180/ week for 40+ hours of work?? That seems asking a bit much!

It has been made quite clear to me that there are few people who truly understand what it is like to be a single parent and pay for childcare without help from anyone. I barely make enough money to make ends meet each month, but yet I get no help. I am educated and responsible and have a wonderful daughter. I cannot afford $236 dollars/wk for my 5 year old child to go to a preschool, I am not happy with the quality of schooling my child is getting right now for several dollars cheaper/week. All I can do is try and see who is out there that would be willing to do a quality job for the pay of $180/week. Obviously you think your two cents worth is needed, it is most definitely not helpful. Please mind your own business, if you do not want the job, do not respond. Thank you.
