Unfortunately, still no leads. They have information set up at the state fair. Would hate to be these families.

Thank you for keeping this at the forefront slb3334. We need to keep our minds fresh with the memories of these two lovely little girls. May God bless them and bring them home soon.

So many missing kids. Where have they all gone? :(

Something that really bothers me is there was an article in the paper that may have to do with this. There are 52 registered sex offenders that they have no idea where they are. unfortunately, I have a feeling that is what happens to many of the missing kids.

Pick up the latest issue of PEOPLE magazine and there is a full article on these girls.

So sad.

Police stated not to long ago that they believe these 2 children were quite possibly still alive, but wouldn't discuss further.. I'd like to know why they think that because usually cops suspect the worst after 48 hours..

I hope they're found safe!

I read the People article too and the police did say in spite of everything, they do believe there is a "good chance" these girls are alive.

Maybe they cannot state why because it will hinder the investigation, etc.

I think it is odd that their bikes were found abandoned however. If it were my kid, I would be worried.

But they drained the lake out and there has been no trace of them, so perhaps someone has kidnapped them which in theory may be better than killing them.

If they are still alive, I hope whoever has these girls will do the right thing and let them return to the families.

One of the mothers was being criticized for seemingly being "detached" when she spoke, but as a parent, I know that this mother must be heartbroken not knowing where her child is.

Who wouldn't be?????

The parents are highly likely under medical sedation, so they don't lose it & go insane! Poor kids. Poor families...so, so heart breaking.
