Ads of Ill Repute

We've had very few submissions for Ads of Ill Repute. Is this a feature to keep or to lose? What do you think?

I don't know if this makes me sad because it exists or because it's Hoboken.

I say either get rid of it, or pick the worse 2-3 to highlight. I've found you all have posted too much, and a lot are similar to each other. That's just my opinion though...

I have been reading this blog since it started what 10-11 years ago. I have always enjoyed this feature although it used to be better. Please don't get rid of it entirely. Maybe once or twice a month if need be. But I enjoy reading all the nitwits and clueless and crazy ads! Btw love this blog and my children are 11 years apart so you came back just at the right time when my son was born. Thank you!

How about posting a handful of the best ones that are actually nanny ads (not sexy cleaning lady ads that are posted in the wrong spot). Keep this and nix the recipes :)

Some of them are interesting but the majority are repetitive and boring. I'd say once a month vs once per week and cull the best ones.

Keep it, but just post the extra-crazy ads.

Keep it but maybe just post the crazy ones. Ones like the one towards the bottom that has the elder care included isn't all that bad without further reference. For all we know they could be offering very high pay for the unusual situation.

I also hate the formatting. I usually read on my phone and it's miserable to read this feature on it.

I don't find this feature very interesting. There are too many ads and it is overwhelming. I also hate the formatting. It is hard to read. If you want to keep it, maybe post 1/month and only post the top three worst ads.

They aren't smartphone friendly to view so I don't read them.

We appreciate the comments! We will build it over the course of multiple weeks and include only the craziest, non repetitive ads..and offer typed out versions to read too. Tune in next week. Or the week after. :)
