Employment Notes

We've had a ton of submissions from people who want to share parts or whole job contracts, even a non disclosure agreement and even some photos and specialized daily directions. These will all be published under a new feature, "Employment Notes". Don't be dissuaded if you are an employer as we also have some (strange) notes left for employers by their nannies. If you want to submit, please email isynblog@gmail.com. As always, submissions will be completely confidential and identifiable information will be eliminated.
Here is our first submission from a New York nanny, who adds, "This is passive aggressive and shows how out of touch my employer is with the average person. Yes, I will go get a free fitting and then take my spefic measurement straight across town to the bra department at Target, because you know a $120 bra is not in my budget."

Maybe she is just concerned for your posture, although I think a gift certificate would have been better.

What is wrong with this?

As an employer and the mother of three boys, I find unconstrained bosoms to be very distracting! I think this mother is doing you a favor.

It's not a favor to tell someone they can get a free fitting. There are many places you can get a free fitting and I'm sure nanny knows that. The mother didn't pay for a free fitting. She's offering a free service of someone elses. A "favor" would be to give her a gift card enough to buy a bra and remind her that they do free fittings.

Probably some boobless UWSider with her panties in a knot over her nanny's curves. Seriously stupid. I wouldn't quit over this but I would get revenge!

Oh honey, no. This is not how you play the game. You go to the shop and tell one of the clerks there that your boss, name and address sent her for a fitting and two new bras. If they can't charge her for it, then you simply tell your boss you went, but that they were unable to bill her for the purchases so you couldn't get them. Act perplexed.
Make sure you tell her you gave them her name and address.
