Last Friday (July 27th) I saw a nanny shaking and jerking a baby that looked around 4 months. The baby had dark hair and an olive complexion. I am reaching out to my network in any way I can to find this nanny.
I'm hoping you can help.
I also have a blog, so posted this info there as well:

Flaming the OP's of Sightings will not be tolerated. Thank you!

Good sighting OP, that's really scary to know she's shaking a baby. I hope the parents see this and I hope the baby is ok.
This is a great shot of the nanny OP so I am confident someone will know her.
Shaking an infant is so dangerous.
Doing so can lead to death.
Hope the baby is okay.
Leaning towards this actually being the Grandparent, regardless great sighting, you must have a pretty nice camera/phone/skills! Good job :)
Where was the baby when this was taken? Was she talking to the OP? If so, what did she say?
Read her Blog it explains a bit more.
I wish she had a photo of the child, most people will recognize a friends child before the nanny....
I know this lady. The child is her grandchild. They are of Peruvian decent. Even though she's the grandmother, it doesn't excuse what she (allegedly) did. I don't really think she was shaking Adrian, more so than just being overly rough. She is rough, but not in a mean way... I mean in an I'm not very gentle kind of way, if you understand.
@ LadyLovelace Even if you think she is 'rough' you should let the parents know that her behavior was disturbing enough to cause another person to become so concerned to take her photo and try and locate the family and direct them to the OP's blog.
I hired a foreign lady to care for my daughter. For four days in a row, it didn't matter whether I picked her up at 2, 4 or 6PM. She would be restrained in a high chair. :( That final day, she was very lethargic & started wetting herself & chewing her barbie dolls legs. :( I called licensing & she was directed to let children out after 20 minutes of meal time. Even if they're a "slow eacher." Which is what she claimed was the reason. My kid isn't a slow eater. She eats too fast! And another red flag was my daughter threw up something clearly peanut butter. But when I called to tell her that my child threw up the peanut butter when we left, she denied my child ever had peanut butter. I think she was drugging the children. She is still a child care. Provider and has been in the business for 17+ years. I had no proof of drugging. Also, I've seen how violently some women in other countries rock their babies to sleep. They're placed in a blanket & the blanket is hung from something such as a bunk bed. Then mom literally pushes baby back and forth as fast & hard as possible. That's just the norm in that part of the world.
What's my point? Is it that you can't trust a foreigner? Of course not. Its that in some other countries, there are customs and ways of caring for children that we, as Americans consider unsafe. I think its important to pop in on your provider & take careful notice of anything that is off. Anything. You can't be too safe or overly protective.
Sarah NY, they never show the face of the child! Thats not safe. The pic of the nanny/caregiver and other info is hopefully enough.
If someone claims to know who this child is, I have yet to receive an e-mail about it from the Parents.
The OP has other photos that I did not post and will be able to identify the baby if necessary.
@ Dee sorry I wasn't more clear, I meant identifiers like the stroller, clothing...
Different cultures are hard
I once worked for an Indian family where the grandma would leave the newborn on the bed and couch unattended
I almost sat on the baby not knowing she was there
She would also massage the infant very roughly and pull on her arms and legs to "help her grow"
I'm not racist but working for different cultures is challenging
RE-post for Anonymous...

RE-post for Anonymous...
Answer for :( ARE You republican, you dont like people from other countries, do you know the history of the USA? who built this country...? You can't generalize your criteria about foreign nannies, stop being a moron please...and next time check the references of your nanny be4 you hire her.
Nannies from other countries are not mean , if you go to the park These are the ones that play with the kids and teach foreign language to the them. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT they don't earn like the other nannies because they are illegal in this country.

Anon reader #1 :
The blog owner doesn't post pics of children, I believe, out of respect for their parents and for reasons of safety. OP's are supposed to provide enough identifying info of the bad nanny in order for us to recognize her (and although posting pics of the nanny isn't done every time, it is definitely helpful!)
I am neither a democrat nor a rebuplican. You asking if I am a republican, in a condescending manner, tells me that you paint all republicans with a broad brush. Interesting.
Of course I checked the child care providers license & reference. She is still in business, 17+ years now. Checking references is a must, but it doesn't prevent abuse & neglect.
Yes, I took US History in high school. What an odd and irrelevant question.
Yes, I know how this country was built. My great grandparents were immigrant. And?
Why are you telling me that nannies from other countries aren't mean? None of them are mean, really? That's amazing and awesome.
Why are you saying that "they're" the ones plating with the kids? As if parents and American born nannies do not. Wth?
Saying that other countries have customs that Americans may find unsafe is a fact & not a judgment.
Before you go calling me a moron, check yourself.
I made a generalized point that parents should pop in on their provider. I didn't say to pop in on your "foriegn" nanny. As someone else pointed out bed sharing is hugely popular in India. Its seen as unsafe by many Americans.
They're illegal!?! Holy predjudical. You're actually saying that foriegn women are here ILLEGALLY & paid less. You know this, how? Do you ask them?
"Anonymous"(lol!!)...come back when you can following ISYNs simple posting rules. How many times do you have to be reminded of the rules?!
Of course you can't respond to anything I said because you're not intelligent enough to keep up with me. :)
