Hi-jacking Monikers...

opinion 2 Hi MaryPoppinPills...just curious, but there seems to be a couple of people on here claiming that someone is taking over their moniker..is this really happening or are people just regretting what they say and claiming that?

Someone has been using other people's monikers and I can certainly understand why a poster would get upset about it... if you have been a long-time regular, it is your "identity" and you don't want someone else taking it, especially if their views differ from yours. If anyone continues to have an issue just message me and I will deal with it. Thanks! ~ MPP

I personally think if someone is using someone else's moniker, it is best to open a Google account and use that when you sign in vs. just typing in any name when you post to this blog. Other than that, I do not know how you can catch someone in the act.

Good advice, Just My Two Cents Just Now... that would allow us to know that the person commenting is who they say they are.

However, if a reader has their name hi-jacked all I have to do is compare the ISP and if it doesn't match I will remove the offender's post.

I don't have any regrets about anything I have said on this forum. If you think I am harsh on this forum you would never want to tangle with me face to face! When I write something mean I want the credit for it.

All of you 250lb nannies can kiss my Jamacian butt!

MonkeyShines: Well at least we all know it is not YOU who is doing the "highjacking" of monikers since you have a very...uh...say...unique way of expressing yourself.

Personally, if someone used my moniker, I would be flattered. J/K.
