Como Zoo in Minnesota

Received Monday June 9, 2008
Good Nanny Sighting I saw your nannyYou’d think with all the Nannies in the Twin Cities, people would post more. Then again, we Mid-Westerners know the meaning of hard work, and have little time to cat-fight on a website… unlike some.

Here it is… Number 4 posting from Minnesota! Your Nanny is awesome- at least I think she was a Nanny. I was at Como Zoo today (Monday, 06/09/08 @ 10am), and I couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the silly faces and laughs coming from your Nanny and her charge. I can tell that your beautiful little girl is very much loved by this young woman. Cheers!

Your daughter: Asian-American (I think), maybe 2 or so, dark hair in ponies, wearing a long pink shirt with some sort of cartoon on it, and shorts. She had a pink lunch bag.

Nanny: Very pretty, inverted bob w/blonde on top of a dark brown. She wore dark eye make-up, and blue tank top. She carried a backpack?

.... was that some kind of dig or something?
Gimmie a break.
Couldn't you just have reported a good sighting and left it at that?

OP,
It is clear that you have plenty of time to "cat-fight" since "cat-fights" usually begin with rude bitchy comments like yours!

Cheers, dear...

Nice to meet you, pot!

Wow. Mid-Westerners are also usually known for their niceness. Minnesota Nice - surely you've heard of it?

Anyway, it was lovely for me to read a sighting that happened in a place I know, a place I used to work at! And it was a nice sighting, so that's even better!

don't worry OP these ladies cannot help themselves and they HATE it when someone calls them on something. Your post was right on the money. The NY posters and a few Cali posters and a few geographical unknowns are ALWAYS here waiting to pounce.Beware, once they kick you out of the clique, it's all over for you!

Nice sighting thanks for sharing!I love to hear of good nannies making children happy all over the world!

lucy and um-ass..do you even have kids?? If so, where the hell are they and who is watching them???.I truly hope neither of you are nannies let alone mommies. You are always here on the computer chewing someones ass out? what gives?
I just sat down after days of not looking at ISYN because my family has kept me so busy and the two of you, along with a few others, are posting all day and late into the night?
and your posts have no value ,just a bunch of antagonizing!

Hiya!
I guess you don't know how to count, but I've only got about 12 or 13 posts on this ENTIRE board.

Why do you have a problem with me?
If I see someone being rude or ridiculous, I'm going to call them out. What do you care?
And what I do for a living is definately none of your business.
I don't know you, ANONYMOUS - so I owe you nothing!
Ta-ta!

Ha-Ha! I admit, you're very funny. So, just for that, I'm not gonna even lay into you!
P.S.
Who said I was a nanny? Or a mommy? Or not Lucille Ball's ghost?

Anonymous said...

lucy, Lucille ball you are NOT!!
Sorry dear..as for the other two options..

you are one but not the other!!

Anonymous said...

"I am one, but not the other?"

How is that? You don't know anything about me.

Now .... if you don't mind -
go to hell.

Anonymous said...

Uh-oh. Here we go again.
Psycho bitch from hell, pretending like she knows who everybody is, where they're from and what they do.

Nice post OP.

Como Zoo snitch here.

THANK YOU. Thanks for giving me something fantastic to read to my husband.

"chewing someones ass out"

BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's the funniest thing I read all day!

Anonymous said...

7:16, do you really think there's a 'clique' here? Learn something new everyday! Why were you kicked out of it?

fg
good question. i wonder if that is a hint? maybe somebody pissed her off, but good, and she just never really got over it, so now we all have to pay for it?

Looks like the OP has a case of "East Coast Envy". Careful, dear, your jealousy is showing.

Only lower class people would go to a ghetto zoo like Como. I'm honestly surprised there was a good nanny sighting there. PETA would have a field day at that dump.

hey saint paulie girl-

suck it. and while you're at it, take that stick out of your a##!

Como Zoo has been renovated into a great place for families. Although I too, don't believe in holding animals in captivity, there are many things to see and do!

The "Como Town" is very popular... out of towners come every weekend. You should also check out the beautiful butterfly garden! Your children will be in heaven when a butterfly hands in their head.

Have you spent time with a toddler just strolling through the conservatory? Perfect moments. AND it's all free. Oh, the benefits of living within 10 minutes of Como Park.

Saint Paulie Girl: You're rude. Grow up- you're stating to sound like all those New Yorkers.

And you don't think THAT was rude?

Peta has a field day everywhere including thier own places. They destroy (lay down) more animals every day then any zoo or humane society.
There are strict regulations on zoos these days and yes they find some infractions of the rules but in general they comply to the laws.
No animal wants to be caged up but it seems with more and more animals becoming extinct this will be the only way for our children will see many of these animals.
Some older zoos run on a shoe string budget and maybe they do not have all new buildings but at least they are good to their animals.

I have to say the comment to St. Paulie girl was ruder than the comments she got. She wasn't insulting someone directly, just the zoo. (Which, in my opinion, is a dump).

Tim Pawlenty (look for him as VP canidate soon) COULD have funded both the zoos in MN, but he cut the budget and screwed them both. Hopefully, he will not help run our country anytime soon.

Just stay far, far away from Como during the State Fair!
