Yeah, I'm sure some soldier in the desert is sitting there crying his eyes out over not having a beanie baby.
"Computer Flash Drives"
Why? So they can smuggle pictures out past military censors that put operational information in jeopardy?
Did it ever occur to you people that some of these items, like beanie babies, might be for the soldiers to give out to children? They do that, ya know. Jeez!
Instead of posting anti-American comments on this blog and muddying the reputation of an exemplary organization, why don't you contact them and ask them what the items are for? I am guessing that because so many men and women have had to have repeated tours, the memory cards are for digital cameras so they can snap pictures of themseleves- you know so their children remember what they look like. The beanie babies or small novelty items are a fun part of a care package that is otherwise packed with necessities like foot powder, bandannas and batteries.
I am guessing the first two comments were posted by the same asshole.
