Great Nanny Sighting in Fort LeeJust wanted to write about a good sighting. Fort Lee, New Jersey. Linwood Co-ops. Near Edwin Avenue (park). Hi there's a nanny middle age 40's brown medium length hair, always dressed nice, casual not sloppy. Yugoslavian, tall doesn't speak much English. She takes care of two boys one is around 16months the other is starting Kindergarten this year, at School Number Three. I asked him - that's how I know. I always see her out walking with them. Sometimes both are walking together with her hand in hand. Other times the baby is in a stroller, not sure of the brand. The older boy you will see riding a bike but close to her. The nanny always seems happy to be with them. She's smiling at them and very affectionate. She always is keeping her eye on them. The kids seem to love her too. If one does something naughty she disciplines them in a loving way. The kids speak the same language as her. Same race as the nanny. And I know shes the nanny, because I met the mom before. The little boy has sandy blonde hair, chubby looking, walking good. The older boy is thinner with light brown hair. Cute kids

So basically this is not a good Nanny sighting, but a kudos to someone you know personally?

What?? This is a good nanny sighting. Just because I met the mom once doesn't mean I know the them personally.

Good nanny sighting! People are such "dooms sayers" any thing positive is automatically presumed fake. I give kudos to your positive post, and this nanny! Stop being so negative and pessimistic people, life's to short for that! Let's try and help when applicable, and praise the good along the way.

Thanks OP, love the post!

Nice post OP. Ignore Negative Nelly.

Wow 7:40: "Doom Sayers?" Exaggerate much? I hardy see where anyone predicted doom? Jeez!

I am assuming you were referring to the commenter who said it sounded like a kudos to someone the OP knows? For the record, before reading any comments, I got the same impression. At least that the OP was very familiar with this Nanny and possibly the family as a whole.

That said, please know I am not predicting End Times or World Domination of any kind, only stating my opinion.

Wow, people I didn't realize saying hi to a mother once makes me so familiar with her whole family. Wow. Lets see my son plays at the same playground as those kids, so of course I see them. Do I "know the nanny" only when I see her with the kids. I never talked to her except to smile as she doesn't speak English. If you see someone taking care of kids in a good way why not post it. Most of the people here want to read about a bad nanny sighting, sorry to disappoint everyone.

The OP is right and for one, I think she deserves a big thank you for giving credit where credit is due.

This is a website for nanny sightings. Presumably ones where you do not know who employs the nanny and hope that the parents see the posting that either their nanny is good or bad.

If you see the parents and know who they and nanny and kids are from regualr park visits then you are wasing space on this site.

Next time, go up to the parents when you see them and say "Gee your nanny is great!" and save all some time and space.

I agree with 12:29, and to 2:49 "doom sayers" is just a term used, a saying if you dare (I do believe 7:40, was just playing with words, as she explained by stating herself: "anything positive is automatically presumed fake." Not that the world is ending over it LOL not everything is meant so literally 2:49...and you sound negative as well by automatically assuming this was not an actual sighting but somehow "rigged".) Any way, back to my point, I have noticed a LOT of negativity on this site as well and I agree with the OP most of you just want a negative sighting...that way you can all bitch and moan (do nothing) and of course jump down each others throats to blow off some steam from the day...sad, when such a good cause gets so twisted.

6:04...that is not what Doom Sayers is. Look it up. And further more, not everyone wants a bad sighting; just a real one.

save time on space on here? Hardly, anyone post on this site anyway. Its not wasting any space on here. You need to get a life. If you don't like a posting just move.

I wouldn't say hardly anyone posting on here, but don't discourage anyone from not posting. I'd rather read something than nothing.

8:17 and 8:20 (Jill)....are you the same person? Neither of your comments made any sense whatsoever.

Personally, I don't think the nanny is very good if the are allowing a child to tell a stranger what school they are attending. That's how kidnapping happens...
