...I Saw Your Father???

Received Saturday, August 4, 2007-Random Rant
Physical description of caregiver: Male, white, 50's hippy style white balding, white/gray mustache always hanging around Montgomery Playground in -----
Physical description of involved child/children: 2 boys, older about 12 years old, long unclean hair slender, 2nd boy was about 9.
Address: Montgomery Place
Date and time of incident: Thurs, 8/2 5:30PM
Detailed description of what you witnessed: His boys running amok because the fire dept. opened the hydrant, they preceded to yell at anyone that who near the water & almost run all the kids including little toddlers into oncoming traffic. Father did not nothing, bigger son with some strange name was manhandling some of younger kids. Father stood there. These kids are the bullies of the block. When they are out my kids are in. Overheard the hippie father say he home schools these kids soooo I wonder where they get all their charm.

Yeah, sounds like an older dad. Probably, married to a younger woman. Thats a shame he didn't intervene to teach them how to act. Maybe, one day they will try to bully someone and they will get a taste of their own medicine.

Yes, where is Montgomery Playground. OP??

Anonymous said...

OK, what is the purpose of this post???, I thought this site was to inform parents about nanny's behaviors, not about stupid parents???

Anonymous said...

calm down 11:42. are you new?

Anonymous said...

yup 11.42 is definitely stupid

Anonymous said...

Interesting. No postings yet, but I'll check back. I witness bad parenting every day. Lots of great nannies in my area though, from what I've observed. I'd say bad dad sightings would be fair game there. OZR here!

Anonymous said...

He sounds like a freak.

ps:
No problem with bad daddy sightings here at all.

no problem with bad daddy sitings?

This site should be named, I saw your stupid parent/nanny/grandparent/baby sitter then.

I have been just browsing here for a while and most of you are a joke.

I guess the purpose of the site is not to report bad behavior by Nannys, yet rather to just sit here and bitch about stupid people that are supposed to be taking care of children.

How lame,, the newspaper article that talked about this site really talked it up, but really it is just a blog site for people to talk about others

Darling at 11:21,
I don't anyone's knickers are going to get in a knot because some grammatically incorrect punk has expressed disapproval. This is not a sighting. It is a rant. You are clearly not familiar.

Now, sign off and go visit fifthgradeenglish.com. There you will learn the difference between than and then, sight and site, the plural form of nanny, sentence formation and punctuation.

And by the by, anyone who is not taking proper care of the children they are entrusted to care for is fair game. Why not?

Anonymous said...

11:35, who gives a crap about sentence formation, grammar and punctuation?, this is a blog for christs sake!!, If you want to be back in school so much, why don't you spend your time grading all the comments and see if we give a rats ass what you think about the English grammar. Stuck up prude!!

Anonymous said...

Ha TR, you really know your own grammar you just said "I don't anyone's knickers",, forgot the word "think" huh, see you make mistakes too,

Anonymous said...

TR you are just as stupid as everyone else, you can't even write properly either,,

My, my, my ... what an attitude, ladies. Get a grip. In all fairness, we are here for the kids. If we don't look out for them, who will. Unfortunately at times it gets boring on here and we will cannibalize each other, but the posters that have been on here long enough know that we accept reports of any kind where a childs welfare is in danger. Now go take a dip in Calgon 11:42, 11:21 and 12:10 ... (with each other?)

The visual on that made me snicker. Thanks.

Perhaps the mom will see this, and have a talk with old dad about discipline.

Grammar is about expressing yourself clearly. . Sometimes poor grammar leads to misunderstanding. For that reason, I care about grammar.
I agree it isn't necessary to comment on obvious typos. Many of us type fast, and make typos on a blog

Apparently this site is also for stupid people to sit and bitch about how stupid everyone ELSE is for posting here. There's one on every site. I can just imagine her now, sitting there holding a gun to her own head forcing herself to read all these dumb posts that she's so bored and disgusted by. And forcing herself to reply to them, too. Kinda like that scene in Blazing Saddles...

And the whole their/there/they're, then/than, your/you're site/sight and various other bits of bonehead basic literacy that most native English speakers learned by 4th grade, is important if you are trying to make a point without sounding like a halfwit. It's especially important if the point you are trying to make is that everyone ELSE is really stupid for posting anything at all.

Oh, don't be concerned with people who only seek to drive those away who can make valid points on here, points with which they differ.

Lazy hippie! LOL

Anyways! Sounds like everyone is having a great weekend here! Hopefully some firecracker of a Mom sees this in the neighborhood, and goes out and gives Dad and his two pre-adolescent sons a much needed bitch slap!

It sounds like you are afraid you will read about yourself on here.

You lost me at hippie.

Unruly kids and their utopia-crazed parents can cause serious injury to other children. A few days ago, I found myself policing two wild pre-teens because they kept running over toddlers at a playground. Everyone was too afraid to say anything, as the pre-teens' mother sat there like an idiot and did nothing about it. The wild pre-teens' mother said nothing to me, and thank goodness she didn't because I felt like getting some string and tying up her fallopian tubes.

OP: Montgomery Place is a 1 way street in Park Slope not a park bet 8th & PPW. This family are a bunch of hippies with kids names like Rafael & some other weird name. Always in everyone's busy & love to tell anyone who will listen the wonders of home schooling. How we are all bad parents to leaving the teaching to the public school system, can't walk fast enough past their house. Let's their kids scribble up & down the sidewalk in chalk for their "arts & crafts" time of their schooling.

Anonymous said...

Hmm, though I grew up in Berkeley CA and have now pretty much zero tolerance for hippy dippies, I see nothing wrong with kids drawing on sidewalks with chalk. I suppose if it's meant to be "arts and crafts class", the materials and process could perhaps be a bit more advanced, is that what you meant?

I hate it when parents are just oblivious or downright approving of dreadful, inconsiderate behavior in their kids.

Anonymous said...

12:23...what is "weird" about the name Rafael? BTW...my kids could draw on the sidewalk all day with chalk. What's wrong with that? Of course, I clean it up with water, but it's fun and cheap and a great activity.

Anonymous said...

OP: Not everyone who home schools is a nut case either. Can you possibly just comment or post on the issue (which incidentally was not even a nanny sighting) and not be generally offensive to various groups of people?

Anonymous said...

Cali Mom...I agree. The spelling and grammer things annoys the hell out of me, but obviously not to the militant level it does you. If you didn't teach or raise these people then why should you care SO MUCH? Take a deep breath! Chill......

Anonymous said...

Cali Mom are you from California because you need to take a deep breath unless of course you're from 90210 which would explain a lot

Anonymous said...

Late to class one too many times? Annother slow Saturday night for you?

Look up 90210 and tell me its proximity to San Francisco. Extra star on your chart if you can do it in less than 10 minutes!

Anonymous said...

10:12: "annother slow Saturday night for you?" Not as late as you obviously.

I just love how everyone on this site has an opinion and for the most part, (from what I'm reading) have absolutely no idea what the whole story is. My son is 5 and autistic. He has "meltdowns" over things that some people would think ridiculous. He gets upset over too many people, spilling things, the tag on his shirt, etc. Yes, he does this in public and myself and his father get horrible nasty looks and comments from "good intentioned" people who just think that either we're bad parents or my son is very naughty. Sometimes, they say things to him in the midst of his meltdown, which only makes it worse. Having dealt with this now for 3 years, I now do the unthinkable, I MIND MY OWN BUSINESS unless I know for sure without a doubt that something unsavory is going on. People should try it sometime. It would save families like ours much heartache and embarassment. (yes, there are more like us, 1 in 150 children are being diagnosed with this disability!) No, we can't just leave our son at home, we can't get babysitters (most people can't deal with him, our parents included) and we have to do things like food shopping, bank runs, doctors appointments, etc. It is very difficult. So next time you think children are misbehaving or "bullies" or that the parents or nannies are neglecting them, maybe you should ask and make sure before you put them in a blog. I would hate to read this and see myself or my husband being written up negatively because my little boy had a meltdown in public and people had no idea what was going on and just assumed......(and people do assume the worst, it happens all the time, believe me!)
