This is not a full time Nanny position but I need you to be at our disposal from 4:30 pm-7 pm. My husband and I recently opened a Bar and Grill. I work a full time day job and my husband works the bar from open to close, and I help out after my day job on occasion. I do not like having to take my son there and not give him the attention he deserves. He also should be outside playing with his friends at home. Most nights I am out by 7pm but some nights I have to stay a little later or not go in at all. I want someone who is fantastic with kids. Must have your own dependable (with working seatbelts) car, and is VERY responsible. THIS IS A MUST! You will have your days free to either work another job or we can put you to work for us at the bar during the day (ask for more info on this), you must be free from 4:30 on. Saturdays vary from either the morning or evening to nothing at all. We are happy to work with you if you have something planned on a night. You will be subject to a background check and the rent is $250 a month in exchange for food, room and board, cable and phone. You will have free use of the entire house. We have a brand new washer and dryer, all new appliances in the kitchen. Your room is big with a walk in closet, furnished if you need it or it can all be moved out. We have a big unfinished back yard for a small POTTY TRAINED dog, cats ok too. We do have a pug and a cat. Your room is at the opposite side of our hallway upstairs and you will have your own bathroom and access to a computer. My fiance and I are looking for a babysitter for our 11-year-old for June 8-12, from 7:30AM-3:00PM each day. His summer camp doesn't start until the following week. Attention mom of 19 month old who sleeps 3 hours a day: 1) Just because your child takes a long nap does not mean you can pay someone $2.00 per hour to care for your child. 2) The going rate for an in-home-nanny starts at $10.00 per hour. 3) The going rate for an in-home-childcare-provider is between $5.00 and $10.00 an hour depending on the amount of children in the home. 4) Paid sick days and holidays are standard benefits for a nanny--not a fantastic, never before seen, generous bonus. 4) Please do your research before insulting a community of childcare providers with your ridiculous so-called 'salary' offer.
