Can do light housekeeping throughout the day, like a mom, cleaning while the kids play and nap. 5. The "Home helper" part of job is about 8-10 hours/week doing cleaning, laundry, meal prep, shopping, errands (about 25/hours/week with kids). 6. Hello, I am a mother of 2 (2yr old and 4mnth old) I had a sitter who was watch my childer for $75 a week total. I know that is not a lot but she was a family friend doing us a favor. She is no longer able to watch my children and I need a sitter bad. I work full time in Totowa but live in Newark. I don't have a lot of money and I don't qualify for Programs for Parents or any other type of assistance. If there is anyone in the area with reasonable rates or a stay at home mother who would like to earn some extra money please respond.
