Who Replaces a Phone Broken Intentionally?

Live in nanny in Northern New Jersey here. I take care of two children, both 5. They have a number of appointments for sensory issues. I had asked the mom to provide something portable for activity since we do so much waiting. Because of tantrums and being needed to consult with a therapist, bring one child into an appointment, etc, I allowed the child to use my phone to play a game. Two times he has broken it. The first time he shattered the screen. This time he jumped up and down on it. I was not in the room. My question is, why are the parents not offering to reimburse me? Forget what it is, it is something of mine broken intentionally because of the spastic behavior of their child!
