Hello. Is this at all possible? Have had a major issue with a nanny a few moms in my state have hired without knowing she has been on this site before for bad nanny mentions and the local nanny agencies have been warned. How do you keep tragedy from happening to another family or at least make it known before another family hires again? Thanks! Love this website.

If you have contacted local agencies, and she has had multiple "bad nanny mentions" on this site then it is really up to the family to check references. What is she doing that is so tragic? I am confused as to how you know she has nannied for a few moms in your state, and none of them knew she was on here? How did you all find eachother? Why did you hire her if that was the case? I swear some people write fishy stuff on here about nannies. Sounds to me like you are trying to blacklist someone. If they have been through multiple families, and she is that horrible she would never make it through an agency to begin with. What state do you live in? ---confused/concerned mother

Yeah, more details would help.

Until then...do you get calls from potential employers seeking a reference? Do the other moms? If so, use that chance to politely discuss why you would not hire this person again.

Is she on the online match sites? If so, and you have proof of misdoings, contact those sites, be very very persistent, and see if you can get her removed.

Why do you care? If the moms are dumb enough to hire someone without doing a thorough enough background check, then they are the ones stuck with the bad nanny.
