Lab Results: Chloroform Found In Casey Anthony's Trunk
Preliminary FBI lab results show that there were traces of chloroform in the car of the mother of a missing Florida girl, according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation. Casey Anthony's computer, confiscated within hours of her arrest in July on charges of child neglect, making false official statements and obstruction of justice, also showed visits to Web sites with information about chloroform.
The discovery of chloroform, a chemical compound that can be used to incapacitate crime victims, is a piece of evidence prosecutors will use in building the case of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony.

Casey Anthony Released From Jail ..... AGAIN!
Casey Anthony, the mother of a missing 3-year-old Orlando girl, walked out of the Orange County Jail Friday morning surrounded by body guards and escorted by her attorney Jose Baez. On Thursday her $500,000 bond was posted by two Central Florida bonds agencies.
‘The individual posting the bond prefers to remain anonymous and is doing so because of the belief that Ms. Anthony’s constitutional rights have been grossly violated’.

An argument in front of the Anthony home Friday night boiled over into blows.

Knowing that Casey has been called a habitual liar and known to steal & use drugs and called a sociopath by her own mother..wouldn't it just be great if she did indeed off someone,but not Caylee. Maybe she chloroformed her drug dealer or someone she stole from and his homies took her daughter for revenge and threatened to kill the kid if she talks. Maybe one of those sickos touched Caylee and Casey killed them...maybe, she owed money to someone who threatened to take her daughter for collateral and she beat them to the punch to keep her safe?
That still does not explain the pictures of her partying,if they were truly taken after Caylee was missiing.(Not clear on all those dates.)
I know this all seems far fetched but truth be told..there is just something off with the whole damn story.Police will only speculate..FBI only Indicates...no one is saying"yes,we confirm caylee anthony is ----(sorry but I can't type that.)
How can a 3 yr old child just dissapear off the face of the earth?
Maybe Casey did something REALLY bad and sent her child away with friends to keep her safe and if she tells anyone,even the police or her parents,she will compromise her childs safety.
Or,maybe she really did ---- her?
I pray,wherever Caylee is she is peaceful and happy as a 3 yr old child should be.

If you searched the trunk of my car, you would find my childs hair as I have changed many dirty diapers back there when out traveling around.No decomp though!

I don't know about you 'enough is enough', but I feel like ISYN has adopted little Caylee. I want to know whats going on, I want to know what her POS mother is up to, and I want to know when justice will finally be done for poor little Caylee!
After reading more about chloroform on abcnews (related to this case) I can't help but wonder if she used chloroform on Caylee to get some "time to herself". Maybe Casey felt she needed some quiet time, kinda like how some people give their kids benadryl or other things to make them sleep (no, I don't condone that). They said that chloroform used to be used as an anesthetic but can be deadly in high doses. Perhaps she accidentally overdosed her daughter when she was really just trying to get her to be "quiet" for a while? Just a thought...
mary, I hate to say it like this, but of course that's what happened! as soon as I heard about the chloroform, I knew right away that's what this crazy bitch did to her kid. sick, just sick.

Me, too. I've grown VERY attached to caylee, and this site has been great with the updates-- please don't stop!
In really hope the mother confesses to something. She has to know where her kid is. She is such a beautiful little thing. I think the mother is scared and that is why she got rid of her. Not wanting to say she murdered her daughter but all the evidence is unfolding. She should just make a deal and tell the authorities where the child is in exchange for a lesser sentence.
I saw this one crime committed by a man. He killed his GF kids. They couldn't find the bodies. The GF asked the man to tell her where he his the bodies. and they all truck a deal stating that if he revealed the location the sentence would be minimal. Well he told them where the bodies were and they pretty much dropped the case, and he is going free soon. The GF was in tears pleading with the judge to put him in prison. But a deals a deal.
I don't know why that's relevant. Oh - because if they do decide to make a deal with caylee's mom they need to make sure that she will still be punished!

What makes me even more mad is the mom seems so pretty and happy in her pictures and actually looks really bonded to her child. I think thats part of the reason this story gets to us so much. "How could such a nice young girl do that?" Even though the news headlines have showed us she is a gross party animal.
I have so much hate for casey..it's unreal. I would love to have Caylee. The hair found in her trunk was found to be from an ALREADY DEAD Caylee. Apparently they can tell if hair comes from a live or dead body. They said Caylee's DNA matched hair was proven to have come from a dead caylee. I cannot for a minute believe that the B*tch looked up coloform and it was found in her trunk!! She deserves to be charges with murder and given the death penalty..screw you casey anthony
Whoever mentioned that above..I'm sorry but I don't buy that somebody could actually accidentally chloroform her child to death thinking that she might just get a few moments to herself. A monkey and his circus mouse sidekick know that chloroform kills. How easy it would be to have gotten a little tylenol PM at the grocery store if that was her aim...instead of going to the trouble of looking up chloroform on the internet...and good grief, where do you even go to buy chloroform!? I hope that a jury is not this gullible. She obviously killed her child...on purpose.

I think too many people are 'reaching' in an attempt to grasp how or why a mother would/could do this (such a horrible act of violence against her own child.) Please, please, don't try to justify Casey's behavior, there is no justification-and any amount that you attempt to give her is doing Caylee a great injustice. Casey deserves no pity, Caylee is the victim here.
If Casey truly is a sociopath (which is primarily defined as: a lack of conscience) than none of us (hopefully) can or will be able to relate to her. She is obviously a threat to those around her, and should not only be removed from society, but treated therapeutically...statistically it's proven, that it is twice as difficult to kills someone you know (rather than a stranger) with that being said, anyone who is 'ill' enough to kill their own child, deserves what ever they get.
p.s: Majority rules. LOL I too, am extremely attached to Caylee...please continue to update us!

Good post. Plus (I was tired last night) if Casey looked chloroform up on th eweb, then she absolutely knows that it is easily deadly. That would have been posted on any informational site about chloroform. NO ACCIDENT.
And you make an excellent point about why we are trying to fit Casey's behvior into a box that we can somehow understand and realte to...and why that is impossible for normal people to do. Casey and those like her do not play by any set of norms that we can relate to on any level whatsoever. This case is particularly heinous to us all, I think, when we see that angellic little face and love Caylee ourselves, and cannot possibly begin to fathom how anybody, let alone her own mother, could harm somebody who looked up at her with those big brown eyes.
I still say they won't ever find a body. I am convinced that Casey incinerated poor little Caylee's body. Thats why she stole all of those gas cans.

The judge could have prevented her release by raising her bail, or revoking it.
Since she disappeared for a month recently, and is clearly a lying psycopath who can't be trusted, I suspect he had leagl grounds to hold her without bail, although I don't claim to know this for certain. But I'm pretty sur ehe could raise that bail as high as he wanted.
Is the plea deal at least off the table now?
And her rights have been violeated? My a@@! She hasn't been violated a fraction of what she deserves yet. Hopefully Bertha the Buxsom will take care of that when she arrives in prison for good.
the law of the united states says that a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
more than once someone has been sentenced to death wrongly. it is happening even today in georgia (sept 30, to be exact).
while it is good blog fodder, i highly doubt that a bunch of internet folk are capable of determining for certain what happened to the little girl. character assumptions regarding the mother based upon some photos and the shocker-hungry news feeds of cnn are only assumptions, NOTHING more.
to say for certain that you hate casey or desire her bodily harm based upon blind trust in the media makes me almost sadder than how sad i am for the little girl.

6:47..I have not posted anything lately because I too,feel that we are all innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Regardless of what we might think happened..none of us really knows.There are so many circumstances that might present themselves once the truth eventually comes out,if it ever does.
I pray everynight for Caylee.
I have cried several nights for Caylee.(just as I am sure many of you have)
But I do not know for sure what has happened to her and until I do,I refuse to consider myself judge and jury.
This case has a definite shock factor,that is for sure.
Death has been "suggested" and "indicated" ?? What about 100 percent confirmed? I may have missed that..has anyone read that yet?It is all so puzzling.
Casey could very well be guilty but she could also be protecting someone else!

I agree. Unfortunatly working for a law firm I have seen all to often for the media to run front page stories that shout guilt. When the real evidence comes out in court (that the lawyer can't mention before hand) and the person is found INNOCENT the story is usually on page 5. It is so sad. I also lost a friend in college who was murdered and in a rush to have the top story they butchered details of his life. Pathetic.
However, I still really do care about this case and am addicted to reading the updates. But would LOVE to know what the lawyer knows.
I would like to know who is paying for all those body guards for her. She looks like a freaking celebrity!

U.S.News and CNN are CONFIRMING that Caylee's hair in the trunk has the chemical compounds that show that when it came off her head her body was DECEASED.
The liquid in the trunk is CONSISTANT with the liquid your body oozes from the mouth and noses, when your DEAD..and it matches CAYLEE DNA
Air tests are POSITIVE for the smell of HUMAN DECOMPISITION in the trunk.
Casey web searches are for CLOROFORM, a drug thats highly cancerous and can cause DEATH it was found in her TRUNK.
Unfortunatly this case is NOTHING more than a mom who murdered her child and now is paddling like hell up shit creek to get out of it. YOu can say whatever you want about media, information casey still has (which is lies anyway) But if it QUACKS like a DUCK, WALKS like a DUCK, LOOKS like a DUCK...its a friggin DUCK people.

Unfortunately, I have found myself very involved with this case also. I've done so much reading and reporting .... it's only natural.
I had held out hope for a long time that she would be found alive. My hopes were dashed as soon as they found the first bit of evidence in Casey's trunk.
Mimi and marypoppinpills are right. The forensic evidence has further PROVED what was obvious to begin with. If Casey is protecting the person who killed her daughter (highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, highly doubtful considering the chloroform evidence alone), she is still guilty of a very serious crime, for which she deserves to be suitably punished.
Stop the pc inocent until proven guilty stuff when the truth is staring you in th face. That's how scum like OJ gets free to our streets today!

Three years of law school is not required to post to or maintain a blog, but it is the minimum required to even begin to consider the practice of law. A nanny blog does not an unbiased jury make.
Oh yeah, of course the mom did it. I have no clue what she did with the body (dumpster, swamp, buried) but she definately gave her that chloroform so she could go party. Maybe she did it on purpose, maybe not. But I think they are waiting to see if Caylee turns up and I hope like hell Texas Equusearch finds her. If not, then they will probably keep trying to build evidence up on her until they have an airtight case. As they say, you only get one bite at the apple. If they don't convict her, she goes free.

Lighten up, Gabby. No one here said we went to law school, but as a citizen we are allowed to form an opinion and draw our own conclusions.
If we were serving on a Jury, it would be different. I would think any normal, intelligent person would listen to the case and all of the evidence presented - including the defense, and then come to an agreement with the other Jurors whether she was guilty or innocent.
But, like you said, this IS a nanny blog, and as such - very informal.
And I STILL say that she's GUILTY!
The mom killed her child. And O.J. killed Nicole. And Michael Jackson is a pedophile.
That's all just common knowledge to anyone with half a brain. IMHO.
