I don't know about the nanny, but this kid certainly has brains!

Very true, my two cents, hehe.

I'm thinking it must be a dumbwaiter....? And the nanny tried to use it as a hiding place. That's the only thing that I can envision right now. And also one of my biggest fears, to get stuck in a small space without being able to get out. Yikes!!!!!

The thought of that send shivers down my spine.

Hey, at least we know she was playing an interactive game with the kid... and she obviously took the game seriously! hehe.

What an adorable sounding little boy! And yeah, this is just funny, not a bad nanny sighting. I would say a good nanny who was up running around playing with them. Hopefully the parents will laugh with her about this and not blame her at all. Just think how embarrassed she was when the fire department pulled her out! I can see how this could happen. In fact, if we had had a dumbwaiter when my kids were small, I'm sure I would have had to open a frequent customer account with the fire department!

What a cute kid! Even warning them about the German Shepherd.

Hah!

I agree, this child sounds totally adorable, and very well spoken! I bet his mom and dad are really proud of him. :)

Too funny, I hope the nanny can laugh about it. It's just one of those majorly embarrassing moments in life, that ends up quite humorous. I think life in general would be a heck of a lot more enjoyable if we all learned to take things less seriously and laugh at ourselves....AND if this were my nanny, I'd be patting her on the back, everyone needs to get stuck at least once playing hide and seek, and I think she wins the award for this one! he he
