Obviously, English is the second language for this person but really.

That's fine. Because some Employer's actually want a Nanny that could teach their child a foreign language. Let's just hope she's as good as the $15 a hr. that she's asking for, and educated... it's obviously harder to tell because this is type-written - she could be very well-spoken.

I agree bebe. I didn't see anything wrong with the fact that English is obviously her second language. I know how hard it is to try to learn another language and to be honest, that's a pretty good ad for someone who doesn't read or write English well. And as you said, she may be very well-spoken.

That being said, what bothers me about the ad is that she said she wants a babysitting job for this weekend. That sounds a bit desperate. I wish someone had advised her to put a general ad for a babysitter being available asap instead.

Babysitter charged with sleeping with teen in her care: Annette Martinez, 25, has been arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old boy who was in her care. When interrogated, she said that she was in love with the boy and had sex with him 40 times over the summer while she babysat him and his two siblings. Martinez has been charged with one count of criminal sexual penetration of a minor and has other charges pending.

does this moniker make my butt look big said...

otro, I also see where a couple of the news reports say that she(Martinez) might be pregnant??

I don't know how reliable they are but..what a mess.

I just don't get it..what the hell is wrong with this woman?

You only get one chance to make a first impression. There is no way I would ever hire someone who doesn't have the ability to write a coherent sentence.

The ad Chick posted is ridiculous. "Nuff said!

It didn't mention what the pay is for the ad below. But I don't care if its a great salary. I don't think someone should be doing all that they want done. If the person is working 11 hours with six month old twins thats tiring in itself. Especially the part that mentioned errands, and housework, laundry. Come on, you except someone to drag 6 month old twins around running errands? Its hard enough doing it with one infant.
Am I being unreasonable? What do you guys think?
