Graduate Student ISO Nanny Employers

Received Tuesday, February 12, 2008
I am a graduate student working on my dissertation. I am looking to interview parents who employ a live-out nanny. My study has a few requirements: Nannies must be over 18 years of age, must not have children of their own, and must have been born in the U.S. My restrictions are in no way meant to be discriminatory, they are a way to make my research is new and different from previous research that has been done. (Research has already extensively examined L-I, immigrant nannies, and nannies with their own children). If you live in Connecticut or in Westchester County and you would be interested in doing an interview with me I would greatly appreciate it. The interview will take place in a location of your choice and participants will be given $20 to compensate for their time. If you would like to participate or would like additional information please contact me at LB5523@albany.edu.
Thank you so much!
Laura

Your request is not very clear. Will you please review what you wrote and be very specific about what you are requesting.

Do you want to interview parents or nannies or parents and their nannies. Be clear and specfic.

Don't get why this is so confusing to people.

OP states "I am looking to interview parents who employ a live-out nanny."

She then gives specifics about the nanny/employer relationship she is researching, but she does not once request to interview anyone but the parent.

Hi I am the person that posted. I did not post the Graduate Student ISO Nanny Employers - I believe the ISO means is seeking out? I am new to this sorry!

I am looking to do interviews with parents who employ a live-out nanny that meets the specified qualifications. I need to be able to do an in person interview so I need people within a drivable distance! Thanks for reading the post! I hope this clairification helps! I will need to interview nannies as well (but not the direct nanny of the parent I interview) at a later date.

Let me break this down for you, if you don't understand that a nanny employer is someone who employs a nanny, you aren't smart enough to particpate in the survey.
