Great nanny sighting in Milwaukee, WIOn Saturday, 11/17, I was having lunch at Denny's when I observed 2 nannies for a set of twin boys, 12-18 months. One nanny was tall, thin and light skinned, the other was short w blonde hair. The children looked to be AA, and were adorable! These nannies truly love their job and your children-they interacted with the children playing games and encouraged self help skills. The children appeared to very happy and loved their nannies. These nannies did not behave like the Barnes and Noble nannies and they didn't fall asleep on the job. If these are your nannies you are lucky!

What is with all of the good nanny sightings? The nannies have started laying their acts on thick- early this year or the nannies realize that if they get posted with a happy face = better bonus so they post themselves?

Really....I mean sorry 1044 that we couldn't provide you with some more juicy child abuse. This site is not supoosed to be just an interesting read. Its here to provide a service to parents, not nosy people just interested in children being mistreated.

Not all nannies are evil and abusive. I like there are far more good, sweet nannies (like the ones in the last few posts) than there are bad ones. Hurray for good nannies!

EDIT: ^^I like *to think* there are...^^

I think some of us are just getting sick of seeing all the bad sitings. There are more good nannies out there than bad, just as there are more good employers out there than bad. Wouldn't it be great if the bad employers ended up with all the bad nannies and all the good ones ended up with the good ones. Hmmmm...might be what happens in a free market where nannies and parents don't settle for less than what they deserve--think about it :)
