Your nanny had been in the store. Little girl of nearly 3 was pushing the stroller that had a few bags from running errands in it. The little girl pushed the stroller in to the nanny's heel and the nanny turned around and grabbed the stroller from her force, with her other hand she pushed the little girl back (her hand covered the child's whole torso) and the nanny said "BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD".
Three things.
1) I loathe people who let their children push strollers on crowded sidewalks. If any one's heels should have been run over, they should have been yours.
2) Don't ever put your hands on a child so roughly.
3) Even if saying, "bad" four times was appropriate (it isn't), you talked to her like she was 10 months.
Little girl: Pink tank dress with solid top part of floral bottom, jelly looking sandals, curly brown hair, very blue eyes. (White)
Nanny: Short, heavy set wearing a striped sweater shirt with a white color and black pants, hair was slicked to her scalp using some gel and then in a bun where it was crimped in different directions. Her bun had a magenta color to it, her hair by her scalp was black, about 22-30.(Black)
OP @ 301 PM: I submitted this as 23/Park. Should have been 28/Park.

This nanny's treatment of the little girl was very wrong.
That said, where do you propose people push their stollers since YOU don't like them on the sidewalks? In the street?
errr ummm derrr i think she said a 3 year old shouldnt be pushing a stroller for fun on a busy nyc sidewalk. it was full of packages so it was her stroller. i am glad the nanny got her foot run in to
There is no Duane Reade at Park & 23rd.
3:13...2:49 here: you are correct, I misread. I did not see that OP said "children" pushing strollers. I apologize. I am human.
That said, are you always such a b*tch IRL? People make errors you know...or perhaps you are perfect.
Being a mother sometimes the older sibling likes to push the younger...nothing wrond with that...perhaps she could have assisted the child in pushing the stroller. As far as putting her hands on the child's torso all she did was hold on to here. It does not appear that she pushed or hit the child. She was only being firm and getting her attention. There is so much worse out there!
wow get over yourselves this is a website designed to help people with somthing very important, there children. thats why you read this isnt it?
Just wondering why it makes a different what her hair color and style has to do with anything. Also, does it really matter if the nanny and or child was black or white? You may just be stating the "facts" of the situation but why does do we need to know if they were white or black?
Although the last commentor made a few grammatical errors, I do agree. White, black, hispanic...take good care of my children and it doesn't matter to me if you have blue hair or none at all.
Decriptions are needed to identify children and nanny's. Therefore their skin and hair coloring is as important as the clothes they're wearing. Race is not indicative of quality of care, merely an identification process.
11:12, thank you for the correction to my 10:44 comment. I should prehaps know the "facts" before I blasted someone else.
I cant believe anyone is so transparently grasping to ride the pc train as anyone who says "why does it matter if she is black or white"
um, as a person it does not.
But when trying to identify an unannamed nanny from a sea of a million nannies, its a helluva helpful!
douchebag liberals. suck it.
My son likes to push a grocery cart and he has run over my heals a couple of times. I would take the cart away from him and tell him I will push now. You do have to raise your voice to let the child know you are serious but saying bad four times is not right. The kid is not being bad. She was having a hard time controlling the stroller with the packages on it. The nanny should of been helping her with the stroller instead of being in front.
to 2:46 i completely feel the same way
10:20, is that why you comment? If so please go back to spelling and grammar class.
Wow...2:26. Bitter much?
I loathe people that fart on crowded sidewalks, you can't escape the smell
