oh an update! Nice that you included the first article in the nanny in the news type segments. The things employers have put their nannies through after their work relationship ends could fill a book. This nanny cared for their children for 12 years! 12 Years! In the end, the father was just mad that the nanny continued working for the mother after the divorce. This was a really sad story!

one reason I don't want my nanny bringing her 3 year old to work!

After working for 12 years, you might think that someone's word would be good enough. But after she left, he was so mad, he tried to collect all these charges from her that he authorized. Most were relative to her job like repairing the family car! So if you are a nanny and even if you think you are working for someone nice- if you use the family credit card as part of your job- make sure to get a written waiver from the family to keep in your file.

You know that employer never thought the nanny would take action. So used to having the power that came with money. Too bad he stands to lose as much as 2 million for his bad deeds! You would think in the span of over a decade you would come to have some warm regard for the person taking care of children.
