Possible sitter. One boy playing soccer. Getting out of car; a Silver Nissan Pathfinder. The boy about 6 said, "are you leaving, you can't leave". The sitter/person said "shhhh shhh, I will be right back. Shhhh. I'll bring you a treat". 4:45 on Thursday. If you know the car, you know the kid.

Why did the poster NOT call the police? What if the sitter/person never came back?
He wasn't left alone at the park, but clearly he wasn't supposed to be dropped off. If the parents asked the nanny to stay, she needs to stay. She needs to do her job as she has been told to do it. Not blackmail a kid so she can go off an do God knows what and then come back. (op)
Any nanny who makes deals like that with the kid. Shhh (secrecy) and bribery, I don't care whether it about an inappropriate drop off or grand theft larceny- It's no good!
Wow...
Someone was up to getting a little "free time" at the expense of a five year old. How awful for the child to have no one there to support him during his game and to wonder if he would be picked up.
Quit being idiots and jumping to conclusions, it said possible nanny. Could it have been the parents just said to drop off the kid to practice and go grocery shopping or something?
