"Stop being a baby, stop crying, you are being a baby" said to a child not even two years old by her nanny after she conked her head on the corner of a table at McDonald's today around 2 PM. This was very definite a nanny and child situation. The look of hurt in the child's eyes (who had every right to want to be comforted) hurt me. The nanny's name was Loretta. I know this because she was having lunch with a friend of hers who called her Loretta. Your little boy was but a bother to this nanny in her quest to inhale a quarter pounder with cheese in peace.

that is emotionally abusive. please the next time you see something like that, say something to the person like "what an awful way to speak to a child". It will stay forever in that child's head.
Again AArghhhhh. A two year old hits his head and the nanny says "stop crying". That pisses me off. Wish I had been there!
Yeah i can't believe that you would just sit there and say nothing, your horrible
I agree this is horrible, but I don't think the person that witnessed it should be called a horrible person. In this day and age most people don't get involved in others peoples business because you never know what can happen. Maybe she should have called the police, so that the family could be made aware and the nanny face the consequenses. Even if she did say something, it probably wouldn't change the next day or after. Reporting it would have been the best thing, but people are afraid to interfere in things anymore. What is that saying now if you're being attacked or something....Don't scream for help, yell Fire, because people won't do anything now days. I just don't think she should be called a horrible person, at least she posted it, and had a name so hopefully these parents' will find out just who they hired to watch their child.
