Sharon. White Nanny. From Texas.
Drives Subaru red Forrester.
Has had 4 nanny jobs in the last year.
Now taking care of a baby between 4 months-8 months.
Drives car WITH baby from her boss's house in Larchmont to White Plains where she buys "northern lights" (allegedly good pot) from a dealer named Rudy. Never met her. My nanny knows her. She picked up my nanny one Saturday in Sept to go out. My nanny ended up calling me on a Sunday at three in the morning to ask if we could leave money for her to take a cab home since the driver was incapacitated and she was afraid to ride with her. I have requested that my nanny not have her at our home.
**PS Am told, she only smoked AFTER work.

Good lord, who cares. What is this, the moral police now? It's none of your business and none of this nanny's employer's business.

Really? I would have a problem if my nanny was using our vehicle and taking my child to go and score drugs!

Thanks for making the point again about liberals.

Liberal scum. Ruining america.

Moral police?
Actually, in the United States, it is against the law.

Taking the baby with her, during working hours, to commit a crime is certainly the parents business. What if she were arrested? I agree, partying on her own time is her business, but that isn't what the post is saying.
A Nanny

I would be concerned about your nanny too if she associated with this nanny and needs to call you up at 3am in the morning for help. If you want insight on someone's character, just take a look around the people this person hangs around with.

If someone takes MY child on a drug deal, that IS my business- and everyone else's. Let her conduct her "private business" on her own time.

plsease don't assume that the first poster is a nanny (though she might be). i know there are plenty of parents out there who drink excessively and smoke weed and think there is nothing wrong w/it and yet would hide it from their peers because it was frowned upon (being a nanny i was just hired help so there was no need to impress me).
so while i think most parents would have an issue w/this (as well as most nannies!) i'm just saying not to automatically assume that ignorant comments are posted only by nannies. we are usually college educated and very intelligent people who just happened to make a career choice which many look down on us for. indeed, many of us are former teachers and nurses so please give the same respect as you would others in the educational/medical field.
thank you.

13 months ago, I had a nanny named Sharon from Texas-also blonde. Taking care of my children. She lasted three weeks. She was not good with the children. Spoke in an abusive, threatening way to my two year old. Fired her and haven't seen her since. If this is the same person- oh my.

OOPS--first poster, here; i missed the part about driving *with* the baby to score pot. that's a deal breaker. on her own time, fine. with child, no way. i'm with the rest of you.

Anonymous said...

STILL WRONG, oops poster. nanny shouldnt be trafficking in narcotics while driving her employer's vehicle.

Anonymous said...

i agree. she can do what she wants on her own time and with her own resources. anything else is completely unacceptable.
--OOPS.

"Liberal scum. Ruining America."

You know, I'm getting REALLY sick of this. As I said in another comment thread STUPID DOES NOT EQUAL LIBERAL. Just because someone yells racism when it's not warranted or makes excuses for nannies buying drugs while on the clock, does not mean they are a liberal. And just because a person is liberal, does not mean they are looking for an opportunity to scream about racism or that they condone drug use (on or off the clock).

How does name calling help anything? Can we please focus on the topic at hand rather than making snide comments about "liberals" that have nothing to do with anything? If you want to call the poster stupid, go for it. But stop making derogatory commetns about 50% of the population based on one stupid comment.

c'mon. isn't calling someone's opinion "stupid" on the exact same plane as characterizing it in any other derogatory way, e.g., "liberals ruining america"? either you can allow someone to have an opinion or you can't. simple as that.

Anonymous said...

The point is not that liberal is derogatory and stupid is not. The point is, if the poster wants to be childish and call names, they ought to at least focus on the individual they are attacking and leave out the rest of the (uninvolved) public. The poster has every right to criticize other posters (and even to say that they are stupid), but I don't think it's fair to demonize an entire uninvolved demographic (especially since there is no proof that this person she is attacking is even actually a liberal).

Can we tone down the "liberal scum" comments? I would prefer not to censor everything but there have been complaints!

I don't see what all this jovial commotion is about. Has anyone even tried Rudy's stuff? I have. It really isn't that good.

I am a nanny and never in my life would I do that! Number one do you really want someone around your child that does drugs? Number 2 it was your own car? I wouldn't allow that!

I would in no way want my child with a person like her. I would fire her in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!
