Cupcake Cafe in Brooklyn - NY

nanny sighting logo Crude, crude, crude biracial nanny!
I was at the cupcake cafe in brooklyn and observed a biracial, black & white nanny with a faded yellow sweatshirt (designer style) and black jeans, black boots in charge of a girl of about five, with blond hair in two braids and pink corduroy pants with uggz style sweater boots. The nanny was talking about the Tea bag parties and Obama. She was using inappropriate language in her heated discussion. One of the things she said that can best illustrate the conversation was the only tea bag party I'm attending is the one you're having in my mouth tonight. This was said to a black male of about 30 who she recognized when she went in. He was buying coffee and wearing a Met's baseball hat. Your nanny was also carrying a brown tote bag with little blue circles on it. The entire conversation was inappropriate and even if the child didn't understand all of the elements, she may repeat some of them to someone else. When the guy told her she looked good, she spun around and said "but you've never seen what's underneath". I mean, come on. The conversation was making adults uncomfortable.

TROLL
Trust me when I say you spend way more time copying and pasting than I do hitting that Delete button. You are a loser and you really need to find something better to do with your time.
Go read a book.

Defiantly icky.

It's a tea party. Not a tea bag party.

@Nanny Taxi:

I don't think you understand what they're referring to. The events/protests that have been going on are referred to as 'teabagging'.

ok, the tea bag comment is kind of funny ... in a different setting. totally inappropriate for a child.

Visitor,
No, Nanny Taxi is correct. Tea "bagging" is a vulgar reference to a specific sexual practice. The protests were tea parties, a reference to the Boston tea party. Anyone referring to the demonstrations as tea bag parties probably doesn't know that meaning, or how to make proper tea!
Jon Stewart got some hilarious material out of this BTW.

Oy, I hate to ask, and it seems to me this came up before, but what does a "teabag party" mean again? As in, what type of sexual practice?

I feel as old as dirt, heehee! First i had to ask about the "4:20/5:20" thing, now this.

Ok, color me ancient.

That's probably not something that should be posted here. If you want to know, go to urbandictionary.com and type it in.

But it's graphic, be warned.

Prudes! :-) It's not really THAT graphic. Sheesh. Definitely not something that should be talked about in front of a child OR strangers though. That's just obnoxious.

It relates to a guys balls and a girl's mouth. Or a guy's mouth for that matter. The rest is probably very easy to figure out considering what you do with a teabag.

Ok, just FYI for the person out there who's nanny this may be, the Cupcake Cafe is in Manhattan, not Brooklyn

@Manhattan Nanny:

My mistake. I first read about it here: http://jezebel.com/5213242/tea+bagging-dick-army-descends-on-dc

But "teabagging" is a better name for these sorts of things anyway. :)

you can find crude, classless people all around you if you look. nobody likes being around those people. but you can either focus on it choose to focus on more positive things in life.

I am the nanny who submitted this. The cupcake Cafe is on 9th Ave. I just moved to NYC to work as a live-in nanny three months ago. I still don't know where burroughs began and end.

I'm working on it right now! Sorry! ;)
Give me about another hour.

Daisy,
At ISYN the point is focusing on and outing substandard caregivers. What would be the point if we all decided to just turn our heads and look for happier things to focus on than the mistreatment of children we sometimes witness?

She wasn't crude. She was rude and had no manners.
By the way, where did Obama fit in that conversation?!Are you just trying to make a point saying that Obama's voters are just like her?
