Statuesque nanny, blonde, with pony tail, lots of blush and salmon colored Croc or Croc replica shoes seen walking with boy, also blonde, wearing yellow rain slicker, plaid pants and brown boots. Nanny was hurrying along, very agitated, on cell phone. Child was dragging behind and nanny reached around with her collapsed umbrella and swatted child on backside 2X. The nanny was carrying a bread bag with Chinese writing. I believe it was from Century Cafe. If your nanny was there today with your child, the way she treated him was appalling. She also dragged him down the stairs by her wrist. Why his wrist? Because she held her phone in her hand. She was distracted. How did I know it was a nanny and not the mother? She was young, wearing Crocs and spoke into the phone like a love sick teenager and the boy was dressed like he was from the UES.
Why only old moms have babies?

ReplyDeletehere we go again....
ReplyDeleteWho cares who she was? She was mean to the boy. If it was his mom, I Hope the dad finds out. If it was nanny, I Hope the parents find out.
ReplyDeleteThis should be about the boy and bettering his situation. End of story.
Bravo, Mom!

ReplyDeleteChelle,
ReplyDeleteYou are annoying me. I think we all know not all nannies are bad.
We aren't talking about all nannies. In this post, we are talking about one nanny. This is I Saw Your Nanny.
Everyone knows how I feel if it's not a real case of abuse. That's my 10 cents.
ReplyDeleteThe OP saw a child being treated in a manner that bothered her to the extent that she took the trouble to post here. It is up to the parents to decide if whacking their son with an umbrella is acceptable to them.
ReplyDeleteAs a nanny who lives and works on the UES though, I don't know how a yellow rain slicker and brown boots identifies a kid as an UESer. It sounds like the standard rain day uniform all over the country, let alone NYC.
I'm a mom and I wear crocs, even when my daughter is wearing Catamini. I like crocs.
