.... What?!
Enlightened Woman Seeks To Care For Autistic Little Ones (Nationwide)
Highly evolved Light-Being seeks to lovingly nurture an Autistic baby, toddler or small child ... here's why: Speaking as a spiritually conscious Human Being apprized of our higher Truths, and the new Earth energies, I know who these very awesome Young Ones are, and I desire to be apart of the magic and wonderful of their lives, gain-ing vital information for the masses along the way. Austic parents, be sure to ask where these quotes below come from. There's vital information available for you. "These Special Beings (Austistic Children) have one foot in one dimension and and one foot in another dimension ... much like me now!! Autistic children are easy for higher vibrating individuals like myself to interact with because they are at more similar levels and we can (see) each other." "Autistic children are here to bridge the gap by holding a line of connection between dimensions. This is why the incidence of autism has skyrocketed in recent years." A little about me: Amongst other good things, I'm a mature, highly conscious Metaphysical Practitioner, resident of GA for (22)-months, overqualified for the tradi-tional employment market. Requiring an income while I labor upon my body and my audio books, caring for these children or "able-bodied Elders" would be ideal for a decent earnings. To experience my Light and discern for yourself whether I might be an exceptionally good match, please visit my websites: ****[678-569-**** ]**** - Anytime Serious parents, etc., please visit at least the first site and if your resonate with the vibe, please call my dedicated voicemail, hear my voice and if it still feels good, leave a clear message or email me. I am available immediately, have no ties to this city, am willing to relocate, for "the work of Spirit" is far more important than physical location. Namaste'

Wow, what is going on? It looks like some nannies did too many 'shrooms! I have that "Twilight Zone" theme going off in my head. The first Ad and the second Ad with the Berkeley nanny are just - weird!
ReplyDeleteMPP: I kept waiting all morning for these crazy ads! You know I love Saturdays! I thought you were not going to post them!
ReplyDeleteThe ad "We Need A Sitter Tonight" cracks me up, as she is a nanny herself and posts rather frequently on Madison CL looking for work. Does anyone remember the ad from the summer about having an interview and the parent was told the nanny she was unprofessional because she cancelled the interview? Well, that nanny was me, and it was for babysitting. I was sent home sick that day from work, and didn't want to get the baby sick, so I cancelled the interview with apologies, and the mother snapped at me, telling me I am unprofessional for cancelling, perhaps I shouldn't babysit or work with children because of my unprofessional behavior, etc. It wasn't my fault that I was sick, and I think she is rather snotty and a bit stuck up. JMO. Then again, she isn't as bad as the woman that posts EVERY WEEK on Madison CL looking for a nanny.
Sorry to have kept you waiting, MissDee... I usually have it up by 6am but I had a rough night and was so tired!
ReplyDeleteWe really appreciate all of your Contributions, keep sending the craziest ones you can find. :)
I know the warehouse the nanny (2nd ad) lives in. I lived in the east bay, and I'm pretty sure that everyone knew about it. SOrt of an artists' commune.
ReplyDeleteAttended a few parties there...while it was an awesome place to hang out with FUN people, I would probably not trust any of them with my kid. Lots of circus folk.
Lot's of circus folk? what the hell is that? Are they on a "high flying trapeze"? LOL, From the looks of the nanny in the 2nd ad, she needs to come down to earth!! These are great!
ReplyDeleteWow. I love the ad for the "Mormon Family Values". I live in Idaho, so I have had more than my fill of crazy Mormons here.. The religion values family and makes it the highest priority. How is that possible when your nanny works 90 hour a week, 6 days a week?
ReplyDeleteNot to mention $10 an hour is a JOKE for that many kids.
Hahaha, that was the funniest thing I've read all day. What a pretentious, self-righteous goober. I'm pretty sure I met that lady at Burning Man.
ReplyDeleteI sorta wish that these craiglist wtf's were broken up into smaller posts... maybe a post for the 'short-notice stranger to sit' ads - another post for the 'how much?' ads - another post for the miscellaneous ads, etc.
ReplyDeleteSo often I want to comment on one of the early ones in the list, but by the time I get done reading them all, the comment I wanted to make is forgotten.... Actually, by the time I get done reading them all, the only comment I want to make is the one I'm leaving now.
:^(
Yeah, I guess I could stop reading, scroll down, click over to the comment section, leave my comment, click back around to the craigslist wtf and then continue reading... but come on, that's almost like work! :)
I just think it might be neat to try, Mary, if it's not too much work - it would get you more visitors and more comments (and we know the comments are the best parts) and maybe even spread them out over a few days, not just on saturdays.... Since you get so many submissions these days, last time it was about 30, same for this time... it might be something to think about...
Lame-O Critic
ReplyDeleteI have to do it this way because of archiving. I'm sorry if it's too much trouble to comment... I wish I knew of an easier way.
As for breaking it up into daily posts, I think it would get old real quick with the Readers, not to mention the amount of work it would be for me! As I've said before, I never realized the amount of work that Jane had to put into this Blog until I came on board, and I just don't have that kind of time!
Maybe you could open up two windows? One for the CL-WTF and one for commenting?
wohoo!! can I take what Enlightend Woman is taking?! I'm sure she believe's in what she says, but I'm sure there won't be many offers. My autistic charge seems to be from another planet, but her feet are firmly planted on planet earth.
ReplyDeleteMary-
ReplyDeleteOpen 2 windows - great idea - I used to be smart and might've thought of this myself :)
I figured it had to be an issue of it being difficult - I have a blog on wordpress that nobody even ever goes to and it's still a bunch of work - hassle-heavy work, not fun-time work like I thought it would be. :)
jada,
ReplyDeleteI'm not kidding! Fire twirlers, silks artists and maybe even someone that does the trapeze although they didn't have one there. I'm telling you--it was one hell of a party--I wouldn't be surprised if the chick from the first ad had been there too.
I just love the ad with the 6 kids 6 and under. I do wonder though, just because my brain goes odd places, whether the 5 month old or the 13 month old twins were adopted, because I am fairly certain that, baring a premature birth, they don't have the same birth mother.
ReplyDeleteYeah, sorry for the random...
Um, BAD employers! Foolish last minute people!
This has got to be the funniest part of this week's submissions. It's at the end of #28....
ReplyDelete"all i can pay is $25 a day i work 4 to 5 days out of the week so if u add that up for 2 weeks almost ends up a normal pay check."
What in the world does that even mean? And how is $200 for two weeks even close to a "normal paycheck"??? LOL!!!
Thank you, Chick. I was thinking the exact same thing. And I charge more than that for ONE kid, let alone six!
ReplyDeleteI really think that first one is a joke.
ReplyDeleteOk gotta put in my two cents.
ReplyDeleteI worked in daycares and I had a few autistic kids so I would research all I could so that I was better prepared to work with them and understand them. The first post actually isn't to far out there. Now granted I don't believe what she's saying but she's not alone in the least on her beliefs about autistic kids, in fact I believe discovery health had a program about that 'belief' a few years back.
Now this higher vibrating woman is incorrect in saying that she is of a higher vibration. I have not met anyone who is. She is not correct in saying that autistic children have one foot in this dimension and one foot in the other. techinally all children have the ability to sense the vibrations of other planes of existance and only few adults can.
ReplyDeleteI don't like what this woman is saying, she is not a light force.
Talking from experience and being from many generations of witches I can say this woman is on the right track but I am very hard to convince. I feel she has good intentions but she is still confused. Autism is a choice that is made so certain lessons can be learned. They are not of both dimensions, and neither is this woman. It doesn't work like that.
Just happened to stumble across another ad for the "enlightened being" in the featured ad of this post. In this ad, she is looking to work as a Chaperone/Guide for "impressionable teens" rather than a nanny for autistic children, but it's definitely the same woman and this one has a photo. :)
