you kept this woman for 10 months!? even after spying on her and a trip to the ER!? shame on you!
ReplyDeleteYou should've confronted and fired her after the park episode.
ReplyDeleteWOW !!! so neglecting your child, and you baby being frightened was not enough for you to fire her??!!! I feel sorry for your child, her mother values money more than her. You values are all screwed up lady!!! Sell the fancy car and house live a life you can afford and PARENT the child you have. Or she will grow up th HATE YOU !!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above respondents. You were negligent in keeping someone you knew wasn't a good care giver for your child, and I suspect it was because she was cheap.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe you kept that woman in your employ after all of those things she did to your child. and, the thing that got you to fire her was her stealing money from you! Sure shows where your priorities are-how sad for your child.
ReplyDeleteyeah, you kept a nanny your daighter didn't like for ten months?
ReplyDeleteso only after she took your money, you fired her. ignoring/neglecting your kid and lying about it wasn't enough. Pathetic, save that money for your daughter's therapy bill
ReplyDeleteI think this Mom was indeed negligent but we can't assume that it stemmed from frugality. It may be that she is just a dumb Mom. Hopefully her choices would be better for her child the next time around.
ReplyDeletealthough I think your post was meant to be helpful to others who may encounter this nanny, you have put yourself in the firing range. If it were me, I would have fired her after the park episode, mostly for the lying about what they did in the park. Hindsight is 20/20 though and your circumstances may have prhibited you from firing this woman.
ReplyDeleteWhy was she working for you for that long? Sounds like a no-brainer to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is blatent child abuse, but not only from the nanny but moreso from her mother. How could you leave your baby with such a person. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis story sounds like BS!
ReplyDeleteWhy would you put up with this so long and endanger your child's welfare for all that time?
FANTASY TALES!
^^^No-there are just some bad parents out there.
ReplyDeleteIn the end, your children will know if you sacrificed them to questionable care or if you kept them away from people who really loved them.
ReplyDeleteDo the right thing!
I was a nanny for a family for almost a year. After I left the job, they posted negative and untrue things about me on a website which I found quite by accident.
ReplyDeleteThey never once came to me with any concerns about the job I was doing. I felt that I did an excellent job. (Their comments were not about my care of the child, but about reliability which was ridiculous since I was extremely reliable and never went beyond the sick time they had alloted me in my contract, which was only a few days!)
I don't understand why these parents keep nannies on that they are unhappy with. If it were me and I was unhappy whatever the reason, I would let her go. If they don't then they have no right to complain. I think their jobs are more important to them than their children.
In the case here, it is especially upsetting when the nannie's actions were hurting the kids. This mother sounds crazy...
Shame on you for allowing your child to be alone with this person even after you had suspisions!Your job is to protect your child. After you followed her to the park and made the discovery she should have been gone!Allowing it to escalate to a trip to the ER makes you as negligent as the nanny!Actually..she just sounds lazy ..you are shameful though!
ReplyDelete10 months!! Your dumb.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the post!
ReplyDelete"Fearing possible retribution?" Yes, well she should because you need to be careful what you post on these sites. If someone posted my name I would sue the pants off of them if it took forever."
ReplyDeleteWhat "sites"?
ReplyDeleteShe didn't post her full name anyway.
And if you are abusing children and stealing money; you should be more concerned about the jail time you are going to do rather than the lawsuit you hypothesize about.
To the last poster: she may not be abusing children, she may be lying. She took her story down after all, and that speaks volumes. This is America, my friend and you are innocent until proven guilty and if a parent is posting false accusations about a nanny, they have every right to sue.
ReplyDeleteIf she had proof that the nanny was abusing her children, she should be at the police station right now and not trolling on Isawyournanny.com.
This tells me that she doesn't have any proof at all. It is the mother who is crazy here, either that or a compulsive liar. If these accusations were true and she did nothing than she is the one who is a child abuser.
