  1. Oh Goodness....praying it passes you by (or is at least not too bad)!

  2. Hoping for the best! I grew up in S. Florida, had to watch storms for years. Hoping this one takes a turn away; it has happened.
    Take care!

  3. I am in NC as well but further inland. I have friends and family down by Atlantic beach that I am praying for. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers too, MPP.

  4. Thank you so much for all of your kind words.

As of 4:00 reports say the winds for my area will top out at around 60mph which isn't too bad... the damage will hopefully be minimal.

Flooding should not be an issue either as this Hurricane isn't producing serious amounts of rain.

If I can I will comment late tonight after the arrival of Earl and update you on the conditions.

Take care, all... especially if there are any fellow readers in the same boat! ;-)

  8. Keeping my fingers crossed the storm stays mild for you. Winds of 60 really aren't that bad (I come from a windy/stormy area) and we reach 60mph with our winds sometimes during regular Winter storms. Anyway, praying it doesn't get much worse than 60, keep us posted!
