I saw your nanny on Pierrepont street between Henry Street and Hicks Street on Monday December 15th 2008...Your nanny is of Carribean background with an island accent and has braids and was wearing a brown 3/4 length coat....your child is a approx 3 years old with Blonde hair and had pink on....your nanny was talking on a cell phone and not paying attention at all to your child who was walking behind her and could have been taken or walked into the street. I confronted your nanny and asked her why the child was walking alone, your nanny began to raise her voice at me and asked "does she look like she is walking alone?" and I said yes she does...another man in the street agreed with me and also scolded your nanny.
So you mean that the nanny was walking ahead of the child yakking on her cell phone and the child was so far behind her she (the nanny) couldn't see the child, or the child was close enough to the nanny only the nanny wouldn't be quick enough to keep the child out of harm's way if something happened? Must have been an important conversation that kept her from doing her job correctly. Imagine if the nanny kept walking without the child....

ReplyDeleteThis is dumb ass.
ReplyDeleteThis is a shot of Pierrepoint Street in Brooklyn.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty street. I would sure want my child's hand held while walking down it though...or at the very least, if there are no people and no cars around to be very near by and in the nanny's sight at all times. Definitely not OK to let a child meander behind you in the city. "It'll probably be OK" is not a standard of care a nanny should ever give IMO.
