Upcoming on I Saw Your Nanny
We have two upcoming features we need your help with. The first is our "Worst Nanny Stories" which will be published November 30th. This is your chance to share your nanny horror stories, stories of a former nanny, a nanny you observed in the park or the nanny you replaced. This is also the chance for nannies to share their horror stories of former or current employers. Among our contributions so far this year are a submission from a mother of three describing childhood alongside her stern, cold nanny and another submission comes from a one time nanny who in her own words 'had no business working with young children'. We really want to hear from everyone, both nannies and employers; so please send your submissions in to Jane at isawyournanny@aol.com or submit them anonymously here.

On December 26, we will run the first part of our Nanny Holiday Bonus Feature. The second part will run on January 2, (to make sure everyone gets counted). We encourage nannies and employers to participate in this (historically) hugely popular feature. We want to hear from as many people as possible!

  2. I am soooo looking forward to these "ISYN Specials"! I love it when you do Survey's. It gives us a chance to peek into other people's lives. The good and the bad.

And as for the comment from "notallnanniesarebad" - that would include nannies that work for bad families, too - right? As long as it's nanny-related, it should be no-holds-barred. I'll bet there are some nannies out there that have some really insane stories of the people they work for.

The "Nanny Horror Stories" Feature has been modified to now include your suggestion.
We want to hear from all sides, so if you are a Nanny and you have a horror story about a past or current Employer/Family, we want to hear from you, too!

    Thanks!

  5. I agree, notallnanniesarebad. I really hope you and ericsmom and everybody else will give us all the gory details! I love hearing about bad bosses, it makes taking my job just a little easier. My employer can be a bit of a nightmare, but only because she's got OCD. So she's just.. picky? Yeah, I think that's the word, lol. Pain-in-the-ass-picky.

  6. i've been with my family for 6 months, and they're letting me take a paid (10day) vacation... tomorrow.

do most nannies get to take their vacations within 6 months of employment?
