Trace of Human Remains Found In Florida Mom's Car
Investigators have found chemical evidence of human decomposition in the trunk of the car connected to Florida mother Casey Anthony, a law enforcement source said Wednesday.
The evidence, discovered at the the University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Facility, may help solve the months-long mystery of the woman's missing 3-year-old daughter, Caylee.

  1. For those of you that have been following these Reports, I just want to say that I am especially devastated by this News.
I have tried to keep my hopes up, like many, but they are saying these Tests will prove it is Caylee.

Casey Anthony has 24 hrs. to come clean. She has been offered a deal for leniency if she will tell them the truth of how Caylee really died.

  2. I hope by leniency they mean they will not pull her fingernails out with plyers before they tie her limbs to rabid horses and shoot a starter pistol.
If she gets off I am going to be really, really disgusted.

  3. They've just extended Casey's plea deal (Limited Immunity) until next week.

I find it outrageous that Prosecutors would do this, after all of the lies she's told. I guess the only solace would be with her Parents, Cindy & George.... let them enjoy the few remaining days of their Daughter's freedom because they are going to lock her up and throw away the key for a long time.

  5. This just makes me want to cry. I thought I heard something about them having tests that revealed a dead body had been in the trunk, but I changed the channel as quick as I could because my kids were in the room. There's been so much coverage, my 5 year old even asked me, "mom, is caylee dead".
Just heartbreaking. The mom of this child deserves life without parole, and hard labor.

  6. Leniency? Does that mean they won't kill her the way Caylee died, instead simply putting her to death with some mercy?

Yeah, I know, that's not the deal.

This news was inevitable, but still so very sad. I hope that Casey Anthony gets to live a long life in prison, with lots of moms among her fellow prisoners. I bet mothers are less than cordial to women who kill their kids.

A long life of torment would be good, if the Death penalty is off the table.

  7. I'm confused as to why the deal anyway. They're about to have all the evidence they need to put her to death. Why puss out now?

Seems nobody cares enough about this little child to have disclosed her whereabouts for a decent burial. I think granny and gramps probably know as well by now where she is.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oops. Din't finish my thought...

If nobody cared enough about the child to tell where she was so she could have a decent burial, it seems beyond sick now to think they might be willing to cough her up in order to benefit her mom and grandparents' legal situation. But I suppose its par for the course with this lying sack of snake shit family.
Oooohhh, this just makes me sick.

  9. Here's a happy thought:

Maybe after Casey tells what she did with Caylee, the proseutors will say to her, "Oops, we've gotten so used to the bullshit flying when we talk to you that we were actually lying when we said you'd get leniency."

  10. Hi Mom.
The reason for the Deal is basically this ... they hope that it will entice Casey because they want Caylee's body. They do believe the Grandparents "obstructed" the Investigation to some degree, but they are not faulting them for it. They understand how hard this must be for them to lose a precious Granddaughter, and a Daughter, because even though she has betrayed them in the worst way - they still Publicly support and love her.

They just want to give this little girl a proper burial, help the Grandparents with the grieving process and put an end to this.

    On your "happy thought":
    One could only hope....

This Plea Deal has only been on the table for a couple of hours and it's already stirring Public outrage.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Well I'm still holding out hope.

I read over the documents, I think it has something to do with drugs and the newest boyfriend of hers.

I also said yesterday that Casey's parents had something to do with it, I don't think they helped kill Caylee but I think they helped dispose of her body and other evidence.

There was mention (in the 400 pages of documents) of the parents having concrete poured in the backyard so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened to Caylee :(

  13. My thoughts?

For how long will we continue to tolerate public spectacles and prayer vigils held for children long dead?

Someone needs to make an example out of this "woman".

  14. this entire case just makes me ill! If she didnt want to be a mom anymore and the child was getting in the way of her lifestyle, then why didn't she just let her parents raise the little girl and she could have moved away? How ill are people to kill their own child (I know nothing has been proven yet, but, I have believed from the beginning she killed this poor child).

you hear stories like this all the time-why doesn't the mother just leave the kids with another relative and take off? Why is murder the only answer?

    ReplyDelete
  15. gimmeabreak, the mom tried to give Caylee up for adoption and her mother wouldn't let her.

    ReplyDelete
  16. that was when, 3 years ago when the child was first born? I am seriously asking here because I had not heard that tidbit.

Anyway, even if that is the case-she still could have just left the child with her parents and taken off.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Why did she need her parents permission to put the kid up for adoption? Was she a minor?

-I also had been holding out hope that someone was holding Caylee to punish the mother like that movie... where the drug dealers kidnapp the brother while they await a debt repayment but get scared and end up killing the kid?
I was hoping Casey wasn't fessing up because she had done something illegal causing someone to take Caylee in retaliation and she was being kept alive somewhere.

Doesn't sound like that is the case now.

One more question - can the tests tell the difference between a live body having been in the trunk and a dead one?

    ReplyDelete
  18. A friend of hers who wasn't able to have kids told Casey while she was still pregnant that she would adopt her daughter. Casey called her back a few days later and told her that her mother wouldn't allow her to put Caylee up for adoption.

Confused what the experts say is that a dead body gives of certain things (not sure what the word is they used) and ONLY a dead body gives off these certain things.

If you check out the orlando newspaper online, sorry I don't have a link, they are covering this story pretty heavy and have a lot of info about the new developments.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thanks TC - it makes sense that a decomposed body would leave different traces.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thank you, TC.

Air sample tests (a unique combination of chemicals the human body emits as it breaks down after death) taken from Anthony's trunk were sent on August 10 by the Orange County Sheriff's Office to be analyzed at the University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Facility, known as the "Body Farm." - From there were the results we received yesterday that these tests prove a dead body was in the truck.

DNA analysis(that will prove whether or not it is in fact Caylee)from the trunk are due to come in very soon.

  22. I've been both dreading and awaiting this particular piece of news all along, but have truly felt the entire time, that this would be the final out come. :( There is something *not right* with Casey. Her behavior, her emotional state, all the lies she has spilled fourth that pile up in long rows...Something about her, actually frightens me.

Do you think she'll finally confess as to what happened? (She's pretty stuck now.) I wonder if she'll spill fourth more lies in an attempt to lessen her charge(s). Judging from all the lies she piled up thus far, I'm guessing she's got a few more in her!

I noticed in one of the articles she was described as a sociopath (yikes), and I have to wonder how her parents would have even wanted her to raise a child, let alone truly believed that she hadn't done any wrong doing when Caylee went missing. I don't feel in my heart, that her parents are honestly involved, (they have seemed genuine in their concern for Caylee this entire time) however, I do believe that even they know (deep down) that Casey is responsible. My heart goes out to them. Not only do they have to deal with the painful news that their grand daughter is most likely dead, they also have to deal with the fact that their own daughter, flesh and blood, murdered her. I bet their minds are spinning in an attempt to figure out what truly happened...and of course WHY it happened!

Accident or murder? I'm still not sure...BUT either way, justice needs to be served. I don't feel any pity for Casey. I think she is a dangerous person, and that they should throw the book at her.

  23. How could she even think of wearing a missing Caylee T-Shirt? Yet, she did. Does she think people still believe the babysitter stole her child? Yep, she's nutz. Maybe it was the drugs that destroyed her brain.

  24. The link to the Orlando paper.

It says her bond will be revoked on Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  25. She wore a missing shirt? Ick!

And somebody mentioned that there was cement poured in her parents backyard. Was this after Caylee wnet missing? Very suspicious and somebody needs to tear that up and look for caylee before they start offering plea deals. I know the first thing I owuld do if somebody truly beloved to me went missing, in order to occupy my mind while the search was on I suppose, would be to get some landscaping work done...NOT!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bond to be revoked? Hoo ray! What a stupid ass that bounty hunter/bondsman is. Fifty thousand dollars to get that piece of shit out of jail? That money could have helped the needy. I think some wealthy pervert in California had the hots for her and decided to spring her. Just my hunch.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mom, from my understanding of the reports the cement was being poured in the backyard BEFORE Casey admitted Caylee was missing.

She borrowed a shovel from the neighbor when no one was home and used it for about 45 min before returning it to the neighbor.
She also had her car backed into the garage which the neighbor says she had never done before.

Now that there is evidence of a dead body in the trunk my guess is poor Caylee is in the backyard.

The police searched the backyard but I don't think they dug anything up, they were just looking for freshly dug up soil and Casey's father pointed out a few suspicious places in the backyard which they took note of but again I don't think they dug anything up.

  29. While I don't support any leniency I just wanted to note that what they meant was that whatever she said about the location of Caylee would not be used against her. That means they could still throw the book at her, just not use what she said as evidence.

Thank you for those pics. I hadn't seen those yet.

If anyone would like to hunt down her Stripper photos, I would really appreciate it ... I haven't had the time.

  31. I'm all for throwing the book at her but her mother pointed out the pictures were taken at all different times. Look at her hair, in some she has long hair while in others she has short hair.
Right now there is no proof any of the pictures were taken after she claims Caylee went missing.

Thank you. I didn't expect to see so many.

I saw this and thought I'd post it for others - they can draw their own conclusions:

"George Anthony, the father of Casey Anthony, told Fox News "the photos of Casey shown partying were not taken during Caylee's disappearance, but rather three years ago when Casey was actually pregnant."
Ironically, Tony Lazzaro, Casey Anthony's most recent boyfriend, can be seen in several of the photographs that have been shown on Fox News.
Lazzaro has only known Casey Anthony since the Spring of 2008."

Again, Thank you. I really appreciate all of the Contributions that have been made.

  36. Thanks marypoppinpills, I hadn't seen that BUT like I pointed out in some pictures she has long hair while in others she has short hair.

Now the second link shows the date on a lot of the pictures and some were taken after Casey says Caylee went missing and some show the year as 2007.

  37. I saw somewhere (I believe it was People magazine?) that two separate cadaver dogs, at two different times, chose the same spot in the Anthonys' backyard as having the scent of a dead body. The area was dug up and no body was found...but they said that didn't mean she wasn't buried there before, because the dogs could smell a spot where a body had been moved from also. This makes me wonder again about the timing of the cement. Was it after Caylee is known to have disappeared, but before she was reported...or did the whole thing predate her disappearance? But I suppose if the timing was really suspicious the police would have already torn it up.
I believe each of those dogs also, again at separate times, indicated a body had been in the trunk of Casey's car.

  38. Preliminary DNA Results:
    Just 1 hour ago....

"Aspects of the long awaited DNA test results are beginning to surface. They clearly state that the hair sample found in Casey Anthony’s car trunk were from either Caylee Anthony or her mother, Casey Anthony. The most damning aspect is that these early results are that they are showing signs of decomposition."

So, if it's either Caylee or Casey's hair... and it shows signs of Decomposition... and Casey is alive and kicking... what does that tell you?

    ReplyDelete
  39. News of the DNA Results are only tricklng in. Once it is 100% confirmed, I will post the Article.
Until then, this is a Site I have found to be very reliable when looking for any News about the Case.

  41. Clarification on the immunity deal:

If she agrees, Anthony would receive "limited-use" immunity, meaning that any direct statements she makes to investigators could not be used to prosecute her, legal experts say. Evidence generated from her information, however, would be fair game.

So if Caylee is dead, as Orange County sheriff's investigators have suggested in recent days, Anthony's help in finding her would not necessarily prevent her from being held responsible for the death.

She and her attorney, Jose Baez, have until Monday to accept the deal or it's off the table, said Randy Means, the spokesman for the State Attorney's Office.
    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/orange/orl-immunity2908aug29,0,1944517.story

So it sounds like they are just trying to make their job a lot easier, they want Casey to tell them where she buried the body so that they don't spend hours and tax dollars trying to find Caylee themselves.

    She won't get off.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I just watched a news clip of Cindy Anthony talking to the press in her front yard. She first blames the press for Caylees plight by saying they are responsible for her being gone because they didn't plaster her picture up enough. Then she seems to indicate that somebody has planted evidence in the trunk of the car (perhaps that will be their defense when the decomposition dna turns out to be Caylees? Although, where would they have gotten a decomposing Caylee to plant the evidence from?) Anyway, she tells the journalists that if the car didn't have an odor when it left the house, they might want to check with the police to see what happened to the car after it was in their posession. I am liking her less and less. I seriously think they all know what happened. The mom washed Caseys clothes form the trunk BECAUSE they had the dead body odor on them. WHY would anybody who wanted to help an investigatiuon do that? They wouldn't. Now she's claiming the car had no odor, after she's the one who told 911 it smelled like a dead body. I'm suspecting she tried to deodorize it. Too bad for her that two diffreent cadaver dogs still smelled the decomposition.
I really think the plea should be off the table while they are waiting for the dna evidence to come in. Either that, or give her until the dna evidence is in to tell where the body is...which will be any minute it seems. Then go pick her up immediately and let the first words they say as they cuff her be, "Too bad, so sad. Your plea deal just dried up."

    ReplyDelete
  43. What was the point of the cement?
A porch? Or a random slab?

Where I live you have to have a permit for every thing you do, so I just wonder if there were any plans of something that required cement or it was just a random thing.
