nanny sighting logo I saw a nanny with two children. The oldest child was a blonde boy in a bright blue shirt, docker style pants and orthopedic shoes. The second child was a baby girl of about one. She was dressed in a brightly colored pucci looking dress and had jeans under it. The nanny was AA, on the thin side, medium in height, short dark hair that was professionally set, wearing a cream sweater and brown jean style pants with plain white tennis shoes. The little baby was sitting in the sand and had a white/orange and pink sun hat on. The nanny was flipping through a Star Magazine. The little boy was begging to go play with the other children on the swing set or away. The nanny made him stay right where he was so he could play with the demanding 1 year old. The nanny didn't have to budge as the nanny directed the boy to fill up toys with sand for the girl, retrieve her juice cup, put her hat back on, and an endless list of things. The nanny even had the boy bring the girl to him to change her. And dispose of the diaper. This nanny should not be working with children. This was around 12:30 today, (5/8) and went on for about 45 minutes, the whole time they were at the park. The park was populated with lots of little boys his age. Such a shame. The boy asked to go play about 12 times. She said no, every time. She didn't even look at him and no explanation was given. Although the nanny was sitting adjacent to the children, she kept her head in her magazine the whole time. This little guy deserves half her pay.

  1. I like the Star magazine myself, although I find the Enquirer to be more accurate. However, what I don't like are lazy nanny slugs and here's a true example of the worst of the worst. Too bad the parents don't realize they should be paying their precious little son half of her wages, at least.

  2. Atleast she changed the poor girls diaper, unlike some nannies. Having said that, she needs to find another line of work.

  3. This is sad. I know a mom just like this. Her 7 yr. old does all the running and fetching for her so she doesn't have to get up off her butt to care for her 1 yr. old son. This little girl never gets to play, and has no life.

    Let's hope that this little boy at least gets a reprieve when his parents are around.

  4. This problem will solve itself. The boy will grow a little older, get a little bolder and tell on this lazy nanny.
    Nanny=fired!

  5. I see no problem with children helping with younger siblings-as long as it isn't abusive.
