I saw your nanny sitting with another nanny, having a conversation while your charges were participating in an event. Problem nanny was wearing a North Face jacket, khakis, is slim, brown hair in pony tail, sneakers.
I sat behind them watching my nephew, while the two talked. Your nanny really spilled the beans about your home life - wife's boob job, how husband got a deal thru the plastic surgeon to get a girlfriend's boobs done at the same time, wife's overindulgent spending habits at Newman's, etc. Nanny also talked about husband's career - he was instantly identifiable based on what she said, and is a local Chicago businessman with a very high profile. Thanks to your nanny, who to her credit didn't id him by name, we all could have made some $$$ by calling a gossip magazine and handing them the story. This family lives in NY and LA, but is currently in Chicago on business, and living on the Gold Coast, and husband is more famous than wife, who, according to gossip nanny, resents that she gave up her career to support his. Nanny also said that the wife is pissed off right now because the husband was photographed for NY Social Diary with another woman and not her by his side, and that the husband is a botox addict who has a doctor come to the house so that he isn't photographed going to a plastic surgeon.I know more about this family, after 1 hour, than I do my own! Good news is: your little girl loves your nanny, who was affectionate and gentle with her. Bad news is, your nanny has a big, big mouth!

  1. Yes, she should be more careful, about what she talks about. She probably was a young nanny, and doesn't realize that it was a bad idea to be so open. Especially, when there are nosey (did I spell that right) around.
If she is going to talk to her friends she should do so without others around, that can overhear.

  2. Well ... big mouth, yes. Bad Nanny, no.
This is one of those: "Too bad for the Parents" kind of gigs. We should be grateful she was good to the kids ... because in the end, that's what matters most.
Hopefully somebody will gently remind the Nanny to keep her mouth shut.
And in all probability, the Parents don't have a non-disclosure/privacy clause ... so shame on them, too! Otherwise, she would probably know better!

  3. Awww-come on now! Are you going to make us all have to research who this is? I am very curious to know who the family is - even though I don't want the children involved!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I agree this is a great nanny. Like Mary mentioned she just needs a reminder to watch what she says. Maybe, she reads comments on this website!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Doesn't seem like an awful nanny to me -- she just needs to learn when to zip her lid.

Now for the real issue -- OP, are you really not going to tell us who the family is?! I'm dying here!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Seriously, I need to know who this is!!! Don't make me contact my homeboy Perez!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hmmmm...Interesting. I wonder who it is?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I love the fact she is a bad nanny yet you repeated everything she said. Could someone not figure it out by everything you just said...

    interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  9. OP your the nosey one here stop ease dropping on others!!! Were you even paying attention to your nephew??????????????

    ReplyDelete
  10. OP, you are as bad as the nanny. Listening in on every word for an HOUR, and then passing it on.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I know who it is. And shame on this nanny for repeating so much info. on here that anybody that lives in Chicago and follows the rest of the clues can figure it out.
Your just as guilty as the gossiping nanny.

    ReplyDelete
  12. What a fun read!!!! However.....'Very unprofessional of this nanny. I wish I knew who it was......????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  13. I disagree with the other commenters. A great nanny takes care of their family. She may be a fine childcare provider, but the disrespect she has for her family reflects poorly on her.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Duh!!!!!! Rhymes with "frump"

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anon 9:53: Trump's youngest daughter is 15 or so. Probably wouldn't have a nanny.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Trump has a yr old girl I believe from his current young wife.

    ReplyDelete
  17. But it's a boy, I think.

I don't know. Trump would make sense aside from that little fact.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nannies are the biggest gossips ever. I don't know why they don't leak more stuff in Hollywood. I myself am guilty of plying a nanny with chocolates and coffee just to hear her sordid stories. :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. oh and what 'career' did melania have? wasn't she like a czech whore/model? I think her biggest screen credit in the US is with the Aflac duck. So she didn't give up anything to grab her pot of gold.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Trump has a son named Barron. It's not him.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Trump seems to value hard work. So I was surprised to read about his wife having a live-in nanny. Shes a SAHM, why does she need full-time help? It doesn't make sense to me. What does she do all day. I guess thats why she always looks beautiful. If we all had help in every aspect of our life we would look better too. I can't imagine having a full-time nanny, bodyguards, chefs, personal assistants and maids.

    ReplyDelete
  22. And I can't imagine being married to Trump--yuck!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I agree with you 12:00

    ReplyDelete
  24. erics mom
Melania still models, and does tons of charity work. She's with her baby most of the time, and her nanny is more of a 'helper'.
I saw a behind the scene Doc. on it. She was very hands on with the baby. And she begged Trump for a long while before he was cool with having yet another kid. But he seems to be a pretty cool dad. And no - I don't like him, I think he's very arrogant.

    ReplyDelete
  25. behind the scenes in front of the camera documentary. I wonder how much is for show.

    ReplyDelete
  26. True, but sometimes you can tell by the look in a moms eye. That can't be faked.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's not trump. He does have a boy and they do have a nanny, the nanny lives on her own floor in the penthouse and 1/2 of that floor is strictly for the baby when she's on duty, otherwise he's on the same floor as mom and dad. Dad isn't involved...he's also said publicly he won't change a diaper. Barron and his nanny don't go ANYWHERE without 2 bodygaurds so the spotter would have seen that. Besides they don't freguent that area anyway. And anybody who saw a documentary where Melina portrayed a hands on mom is gullible. The fact that Barron stays on another floor 10 hours a day should help you realize that. Besides they still employ a nighttime baby nurse. I don't know how she claims to be hands on....

    ReplyDelete
  28. So they have a full-time live in nanny. And they also hire a baby nurse at night?. Come on the kid is over two years old now. Why would you need a baby nurse. Unless, your truly that lazy to get up during the night.

  29. Michael Strahan!!!!!!!!!1

  30. Oh I know- Artie Hach. I saw him in NYC around the 20th. His wife was in Chicago.

  31. Come on somebody! WHO IS IT!? Everybody famous now has "hip candy", the latest celebrity "accesory" of the minute (I can't help wondering what will happen to all of these wee ones when the fad becomes "so yesterday", probably sometime in the next 6 months), lives on both coasts, has a boob job and a running botox tab. How are we possibly supposed to guess?

    ReplyDelete
  32. How is this info scandalous? I have a botox tab and a boob job myself. I look hotttttttttt. Rrrrrr.

    ReplyDelete
  33. who cares!

what... you don't gossip with co-workers about your boss?

    get a life.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow, if every gossipy nanny was fired who in the world would care for the children? lol I've heard just as many mothers gossiping about the personal lives of their nannies.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, if you are going to have a big mouth, at least have something interesting to relate. In this case, the nanny did.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who cares who it is? Have you people nothing better to do? Op and everyone else get a life. This site says report bad nannies and by Op's admission the nanny is great with the child. Geez people, go out and live life then maybe you won't sit around the computer begging for more dirt on others. This post sounds fake as can be anyway.

  37. Jaquawn thinks all women are gossips. Jaquawn is not concerned with what this nanny said but why she said it. This conversation reeks of passive agressive loathing; this nanny has contempt for her employers and should not be working for them.

Jaquawn also had his best slice of pizza on the Mag mile-Gino's Pizza.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jaquawn ~
Your post begs the question ... why do you speak of yourself in the 3rd person?
Do you know that it's a sign of narcissism?
    Just curious.

    ReplyDelete
  39. 8:44
    Um - YOUR here, too.
    Dumbass.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Didn't Bob Dole speak of himself in the 3rd person? Evidently, Joquawn is a Republican.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Republicans don't name their children things like Joquan.

    ReplyDelete
  42. jaquawn,
"nanny has contempt for her employers and should not be working for them."

If every nanny who feels that way quits, there will be pandemonium.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am the OP.

First up, we couldn't HELP but overhear everything, as my brother in law and I were sitting behind her (my BIL is on crutches, which is why he needed a hand with the parenting stuff that day). A few quick points:

    1. this family was instantly recognizable to all of us sitting near the nanny, based on what the nanny said about where they live and their careers. They are extremely well known.
    2. We heard enough to ruin this family in the gossip columns. Ruin them. Mistress on the side, dirty details of their prenup and what is in it, only scratches the surface of what this nanny had to say - she has all the dirt, and a big mouth.
    3. This nanny has to be from a good agency. There is no way this family would not be spending top dollar on a highly regarded caregiver from a responsible agency, which is why it was so weird.
    4. We also heard enough to become catburglers - she gave enough info to give us (f we were inclined, which we aren't) the security code number to the family garage, side door and front gate, as well as the wife's lockable closet, which is where we learned she keeps trays of jewelry, always unlocked because she changes it out a lot. Did I mention that we got a ridic level of detail?!

My point in sending this in wasn't to gossip - if it was, I would have provided the salicious and dirty details we got an earful of - trust me, we heard the DIRT - but to point out that nanny's know a LOT about the families they work for, and nondisclosure is an important part of the job. Consider a cautionary tale - she looked like a good caregiver with the child, but her talk could ruin this family - literally, ruin it, in the gossip columns, which would ruin the husband's career.

Also - not the Obama nanny/family. Just to make that clear, since people are probably trying to guess. I am trying to protect who the family is, but...their nanny is NOT.

    ReplyDelete
  44. LMAO now I know this is fake.

    OP GIVE IT UP!!!!

Why would the nanny be gossiping about the security code??? And do you really think the prominent family willl see this info on here???

    F A K E P O S T

People, this OP needs attention don't give it to them.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Evidently Juaquawn's parents were Democrats.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't know if this post is fake or not ... but I do believe it may be "beefed up" a little.
What purpose would the Nanny have in giving up the Security Code? It just doesn't make sense.
However, I would believe her bragging that she 'knew it'.
Either way, this post should be used as an example for Employers to be careful what private Info they let seep out, and to have their Nannies/Household help, sign privacy agreements or non-disclosure contracts.
Too bad this Family doesn't know what this Nanny is up to ... if they are that famous, it would seem to me that she probably may have signed such an agreement and is really pushing the envelope with airing this couples dirty laundry because somebody may eventually pick it up and do them some harm.

    ReplyDelete
  47. if it is true, are we sure she was talking to a friend and not a reporter? that would be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I am the OP, and not a fake, or a troll. It really was the most astonishing conversation to have overheard, and we were captive audience because the nature of the event was that parents and caregivers sat in one area away from the kids - there was no milling around. The security issue came up because the other nanny was talking about how she kept getting locked out of the house because her employer changed the codes a lot, and this nanny bragged that her employers used specific dates pertaining to birthdays as their security codes - that information is easy to find and public domain, for the theft-inclined.

I am currently starting my search for my first nanny, and have gleaned a lot of great info from this site, especially about holiday time off and bonuses. And after my own experience, now i know to create an iron-clad nondisclosure agreement! Also, I just changed my own security code to be more secure!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Good for you! Study, study, study!

    ReplyDelete
  50. MarryPoppinPills: I have to agree with you what you said about the post being questionable. Why would the nanny give out the security code? And secondly, I'm sure they probably live in a high rise condo, being that they are Gold Coast. Hmmmm....Interesting post, but questionable if it's real.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Did she reveal the parents'names? If she didn't, who cares?

    ReplyDelete
  52. you can say anything you want as long as you don't use names. she could write a book if she wanted.

see for exampple, "you'll never nanny in this town again" by suzanne hansen.

Everyone knows she was talking about mike ovitz. but she never said his name.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Personally I think this post and a lot of others posted here are made up for the "shock value" of it all.

Who does the editing and weeding out of what "nanny sightings" get posted... they do a horrible job of picking!

    ReplyDelete
  54. former nanny now a pissy sahm,
er uhm, is this YOUR nanny? Because unless it uhm errr your nanny, you best keep it down. The people THIS nanny works for need to know that THEIR nanny is gossipping about them before it gets out of hand. People will PAY for information to use against you. It happened to me- (they went through my housekeeper) and I am not at all famous, only going through a divorce.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Former Nanny, now SAHM ~
This blog belongs to Jane Doe. I'm sure she gives the OP the benefit of the doubt and posts whatever comes through. Whether some of us believe it or not, why take a chance when a child is getting abused? Not that this post is about that, but you get the idea. I don't know where it is now, but I remember reading some time ago what her 'mission' was and why she started ISYN. Maybe someone else on here knows where to find the Info.
Personally, I find her work admirable!
(I hope you don't mind my answer, JD) ☺

    Gina ~
Why would some gossip rag get a hold of your Housekeeper to get the dirt on you if you're not famous??

    ReplyDelete
  56. Gossip rags are not the only people who pay for information. Anyone remember the case of the LI father who was having his chunky Polish nanny spy on his wife for him?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Maryp-pillsl, I doubt that JD posts everything that come through here. I'm guessing some sightings are so obviously ridiculously fake, she gives them a pass.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Of course, Lorenza, that goes without saying.
No one wants to look foolish.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thank you marypoppin'pills☼ and Lorenza, I appreciate your comments. This blog was started with the sincerest of intentions to help identify neglectful childcare providers. I've previously worked as a nanny and I've known many wonderful and worked alongside some top notch nannies; but I've also come across nannies that were devious, abusive and unstable. And unfortunately, some nannies are really magnificent about putting on a wonderful display while the parents are around, but when left alone... or even out of site for a few minutes-the nanny is a different person.

We do put the majority of posts on the blog because we have to believe that the person submitting the story is doing so in good faith. And if that person witnesses something that causes them concern or unrest, how are we to know that specific child's parents wouldn't share the author's concerns?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Awww shucks, JD.
    Thank YOU!
    You're the best! ☺
