Golden Park in Golden, CO

Received Thursday, October 4, 2007
Nanny is in her early 40's, short, medium build, long grayish hair. Toddler is 2-3 named Savannah with blond hair. I have seen this woman a few times (we must live nearby) The nanny talks on the phone and ignores the child at the park. Then she decided to pay attention and started screaming at the toddler for acting like a toddler. Other nannies and I have seen her at the pool do the same thing- degrade this poor toddler and treat her in a really mean manner. The little girl seems so sad. People at the park were all commenting on this woman's behavior to the child. The last time I saw the nanny and the child was on Wednesday, October 3 at around noon at Golden Park.

  1. So sad...hopefully the parents dont set the example for the nanny. I think many do, unfortunately.

  2. Could it be the mom? If so that is really sad. I mean, it's really sad that if it is the nanny but at least if the mom finds out she can be fired. If it's the mom, unfortunately she can't.

  3. This is unfortunate. If this is the nanny, maybe someone knows where this little girl lives. Maybe, send a letter in the mail, as to what you have seen. I would say slip a note under the door, but the nanny would probably read it.

If you go to a public pool, I am sure someone knows this family.

If it is the nanny...it would be sad if this was the mom.

Update us O.P. if you hear anything.

  4. Very sad. It really breaks my heart that this woman has made a habit out of humiliating a child. Very very sad.

  5. I think I have seen her before b/c there was a toddler named Savannah at Splash and the other moms and nannies were watching this woman run after the little girl screaming at her. (people were laughing at the woman- sad for the kid) She called the baby a DEVIL! Like the first post said I hope this is the nanny and not the mommy. If its the same woman I saw -if she is the nanny she needs to be fired and if she is the mom she needs serious counseling.

  6. Pray for the children
    that they will be protected
    from these horrific monsters.

  7. Savannah can't be that common of a name. Someone must know the parents of this child. Please update us. 1:06 describes someone who sounds quite maniacal.

  8. One way of doing something is running a license plate number on the vehicle. Its a matter of finding out for sure this is the nanny not mom. Based on how unattached the lady is to the kid, its assumed that she is the nanny. Its hard to explain but the woman treats the kid like she judges her and is worried how they appear to those around them. Its just not an unconditional mommy/ baby relationship. I know the nanny's love is different than the moms, but I really care and love the kidos I nanny for and the last thing I would ever want is for them to feel unloveable. Also I am not getting paid to talk on my cell phone then lash out at the kid for- BEHAVING LIKE A KID! Some people should stear clear of child care.

  9. if you can track the family down send out a letter twice just incase the nanny gets it first. This is really sad.

  11. So I saw them at the pool in out city's rec center and its even worse- this is like a pp said the mom not the nanny. So the poor little girl has a MOM that treats her like a door knob.
This time she (the mom) was at the pool (and pregnant btw) with what must be her sister (a younger smaller version of her) I wondered if I could talk to the sister about how the mom needs a little help with connecting with her daughter (in a nice way) so this little girl does not grow up shamed and degraded. The little girl was singing and the mom told her to shut up. The mom was going off on her friends to her sister. With freinds like this lady who needs enemys?
