TO: Dear I Saw Your Nanny:
FROM: Nanny Molly, Co-CEO NannyWorld International

Nanny Tina and I are starting a complementary site titled, I Saw A Mom!!!. It will be a pull-back-the-blankie reportial blogsite to list for public view all the lazy, self-indulgent women who care for children themselves. These are women who don't care enough about their children to hire Nannies and get jobs. They are very rare indeed in Tribeca, but yes, we have routed out a few, often seen talking inanely, feeding slowly, and even cuddling the little ones. Unlike a Professional Nanny who understands that children want to go to Filene's Basement during the sales and to congregate with other Nannies for coffee and endless conversation, these outrider moms actually treat their charges as as extensions of themselves! Is it any wonder that our culture is collapsing before our eyes!

Our site, I Saw a Mom!!! will encourage all readers to report moms who scab as childcare workers and put those of us with credentials out of work.

Wishing you the best for the holidays and continued success.

  3. I think this site is, well, needed! Put the high and mighty in their place! Down with the mamas! Oh, wait. I'm a mommy. With a part time nanny. Where does that put me?

Oh, suck it up, unrully nannies who stalk here. Laugh at the breeders who care for their childrens well being. Hahahahaha..
This blog will always be the best of the two. I mean, we are the mothers here. Mom knows best.

  4. I am sooooo embarassed for you people who have posted responses so far. Don't you know how to read? This post is about good mothers who take care of their children instead of hiring nannies. I am guessing it was written tongue and cheek and I believe it's supposed to be sarcastic. As in- there is no site forthcominng.
    Reading Comprehension test. Anyone?

  5. Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! To the credit of the founders of this site, they published our memo in the interest of hearing from differing points of view from their own. While we are a site which deals with humor, this site serves an important and serious need for children. We applaud this site's willingness to add some levity in an otherwise grim reportage of dereliction of duty. Nanny Tina and I are two Tribeca Nannies who spend little time with our young charges because we like fashion, gossip and watching our investments. In the midst of so much trouble and misfortune in the world, we believe that humor is an essential part of our humanity. Come visit us when you need a laugh. And all good wishes for you and your families for the holidays.

    Cordially,
    Nanny Molly

  7. This should be a lot of fun. A poster named JEN should be your 1st mommy siting..wish I could tell you where to find her..besides blogging on ISAWYOURNANNY..she would generate some very interesting comments I am sure!! She is a nut case!!

  8. Oh my God, you still don't get it? 446 is dead on. They are talking about mothers who take care of their children as opposed to hiring nannies. Mother's who "see their children as an extension of themselves" as opposed to nannies who take the child shopping and for coffee.

  9. Please tell me that people really aren't this stupid? Didn't the nanny person just write in and say they are nannies who pay little attention to their charges? Obviously they are not really anti mommy!

  10. Look up "satire" in the dictionary.

  13. 1045...So, have I gotten under your skin or something? Well, it's not like I care. To me, you're just another anonymous poster here. And yes, I probably would generate a good amount of conversation. See, I am a good mommy. With the best nanny. We're a great team. And my husband? Well, I don't brag too much, cause it sometimes makes others jealous. He's very involved with our family. I do come off as rude sometimes. Like when people don't accept others right to choice. VERY ANNOYING!
Anywho, who are YOU? A mommy? A nanny? What's your deal?

  14. Poster 1241..jen..honey you are a bit high strung. All of your posts are extreme ..complete with name calling and accusations..you complain about those name calling then you turn right around and do so yourself..next post..you are apologizing..you are not consistent and always making the same comment on every blog" Oh,you are 12" or " stop acting 12". You run off at the mouth and have no backbone. You are a people pleaser which is fine but you take it to desperate extremes. You are needy and yes..you get under my skin. I can't stand whiners. Public blogs generate MANY different views..both personal and political..if you can't hang with the big dogs..stay on the porch!

And who the hell cares that "you don't talk about your husband because it makes people jealous" Do you have ANY idea how incredibly foolish and full of Sh@T that makes you sound? How is that relavent to the blog?? You make the case even stronger..and just for the record..I have seen atleast 1 other blogger post someting similar about you and it was not me! You are all over the place..LES??? come on figure it out?! You thought it was an abbreviation for Lesbian???? You just don't think before you speak..you ramble..a lot!! I feel for your son! I hope yopu are more clear minded around him!

  15. BTW,jen,I am a Mommy AND a Nanny who could run circles around you..so back off unless you are truly up for it!

  16. jen..funny,I just read a sad story from you about how rough things are and the loss of a dear one. So what gives with all the harsh finger pointing and name calling in so many of your blogs. I don't think your staory adds up?!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Merry Christmas to you ALL!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Okkk, seriously, last long post...EVER! Promise.... :) And no more resposes from me..

1050, Never new LES was NOT for lesbian. Not from New York area. I do run on. I've always preceeded my leg with the foot, if you catch my drift. And I always turn around and apologize because I was raised that way. Surprised? As for my husband comment, HAD to post him. He's been laughing his butt off over this site as much as I was. He asked for a little air time. Now don't jump all over him. He asked in jest, but being the pain in the butt that I am, well...

How funny do you think this site looks to others? Mothers and nannies should be a team. Almost every post I looked back on has mamas bashing "lazy" nannies, or nannies bashing their "lazy" employers in the comments. The cat fight from hell!! No one trusts anyone!! Well, I seriously had to wipe tears from my eyes at adults namecalling! I might as well be honest. I came here in all seriousness, and was appled at the comments. Those tears of laughter ended quickly. I thought, how stupid! If a mom posts a bad sighting, a lot of nannies get mad. If a nanny posts a good sighting, a lot of moms get mad. What is that all about? So, I posted annoying comments. On purpose. Then felt bad, because some people are here for the right reason.

And 109, like I just fessed up. Yep, I did post to get reactions. I did just loose my father-in-law, and yes, mood swings between happy and sad have been prevailant over here. We stay in check around our son, because, come on. That is real life. He's our first, and we do everything we can to protect him.

I never really expected to see my nanny here. She's like a part of the family to us. But in the past, she has shared stories about other nannies she knows, and boy, scary! I hope I never have to post a bad story here. In the meantime, I came here to let off steam, which, I might add, WILL END. After posting here last night, I jumped down to the baby nurse story, and saw Jane Doe admonish everyone. So I'll be on better behavior. Who knows, Jen may just leave, and I will just post anonymous like most others. That would actually be even more fun, really. Then you can all try to guess, "Was that her? The pill? OMG, that had to be Jen!" I mean, I can't trace any of you back to other posts....and it's not like anyone cares. Except to throw past posts in your face. Guess I did cause the contraversy I wanted. Heeheehee

Merry Christmas, eveyone! I hope you all get to spend the holiday with those you care about!

  19. Who is Jen? I think her posts are a cry for help. Maybe someone should show her how to set up her own blog. Merry Christmas, Jen.
And all you all. And Molly Nanny. And Tina too. And Jane Doe. and little Doe.

  20. Unbelievable! Mom's who chose to raise their own kids are bad? My children get moreout of being with me than they would even get from a nanny. Women who don't want to raise their own children shouldn't have them.

  21. Jeez- that was a satirical comment.

  22. every single one of you just need to get over yourself. happy new year!
