Would it concern you to know that your nanny uses amphetamine diet pills? Did you notice that she has lost a ton of weight since September?
If your normally queen figured nanny cares for your two boys; ages 2 & 5 and has lost a lot of weight and recently joined the gym-you might want to zero in on her dieting "aids". Since her workday is 12 hours long and she lives with you, my best estimate is that her amphetamine usage is affecting her ability to do her job. If this does not reach you, it has been suggested I should drop an anonymous note in the mail to you.
What in the heck are you talking about? How does this have to do with anything about being abusive to the children? Maybe she *gasp* joined a gym, like you said, went on a diet and began to lose wieght! What a ridiculous post.
ReplyDeleteI think it the poster is saying that she knows the nanny uses amphetamines and hastening a guess as to whether or not amphetamine use could impair the ability to care for children. My vote is that amphetamines and alcohol, especially the lovely combination of the two makes it quite tricky to keep a good grasp on a slippery infant in the tub. IMO.
ReplyDeleteI think working 12 hour days could impair the ability to care for children well.
ReplyDeleteIt could also contribute to a rapid weight loss.
Poster no 1 is this you? You are so jumpy. Personally if I had a kid I would not want this person to care for my child. Amphetamines are not very good for your physical or mental state
ReplyDeleteHere is a link it is to one of the most widely used amphetamines today and this would be the weight loss and it would make her hyper and more alert , but not to the level I nor you would feel safe to leave your kids of even pets alone with them.

RESEARCH IT < if we all come on here we have 1 more minute to research this.
I have been a nanny/sitter for 14 years and kids are everything to me , you have to protect them
Thanks, Mandy
Why are you making such a big deal out of amphetamines if everyone gives it to their kids. Adderall? Ritalin? Those are all amphetamines.
ReplyDeleteI take Adderall for my ADD and it does make you have pretty much the same weight at all times, but that is a controlled substance being monitered by a doctor... amphetamines are not good for you if you are abusing them... The poor lady is worried about the girls mental abilities as a nanny and I don't blame her. Especially if she lives with you I would talk to her about it.
ReplyDeleteI take Adderall for my ADD and yes it does keep your weight steady, but if you abuse it, you loose way too much weight! And it is not healthy! I can understand the womans worries, if I dont eat and take my Adderall I get loopy. She is just worried about the mental abilites of the girl. Afterall it is HER children...
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is this!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is going to far!!!
IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!!
