  1. Yes, I do have. I have a wonderful nanny. A member of the INA. And friends who tsk tsk that I pay so much but only so they can exuse their dismal choices for childcare providers. My children aren't just the luckiest on the block, a good nanny makes life better for everyone in our home!

  2. nice list. except for the messy room part. nanny scores off the charts in all categories except that one. but it isn't really something we asked her to do since we have hk help 4 x week.

  3. I have had the same nanny for five years. I went down the list one by one. She scores 2 out of 8. She isn't fun. She isn't creative. The children love her but they don't talk about exciting things she does. I have known this for awhile. I won't make a change because we are all so use to her. But the formative years of my child's life slipped away in the care of a very boring nanny. But she kept their rooms clean. (Ironically the thing I care the least about). If I had it to do over again, I would have went for smart, savy, active and creative. I have a dud. I love my trustworthy dud. Oh vey.

  4. I printed that. I will leave it out for my nanny. Maybe this will kick her into high speed. She was good for the first 7 months. These days, she seems to do as little as possible.

  7. I thought this was how we all are supposed to be. All nannies arn't like this? I wouldn't think of being any other way. If you're nanny's not an 8 keep looking b/c she or he is not doing the job.
