Waking up extra early with the children at first sound of little voices, facilitating nap time poolside, ensuring lunches were packed for the day along with pool toys and tons and tons of sunscreen.

I should also mention we were in Kauai with the tsunami warning which added extra drama to our vacation. All remained well on our little island.

There were 2 nannies with our family so we were able to split the days and take some time off to do as we pleased. That was a super great bonus.

It is definitely important to have a schedule and vacation contract laid out before hand.Kailaninoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32916951.post-19723983076161697122011-03-19T01:40:01.164-04:002011-03-19T01:40:01.164-04:00Wanna be: e-mail me and we'll chat.

His per diem for food was $25a day. It can be done, or you can just pay for a meal. When I travelled for business, which involved long airplane travel and layovers and room service, we were never even allowed to submit invoices for food, under the idea that we would be eating no matter where we were. Eventually, we were allowed a "travel premium" of around 25% of the food costs we incurred to compensate for higher costs in airports, etc. I ended up just sticking to my diet and eating very litle.PerDiemnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32916951.post-8912014485876077702011-03-15T14:17:02.391-04:002011-03-15T14:17:02.391-04:00I wish I could travel with my family, they seem to...I wish I could travel with my family, they seem to travel like old pros, but there are 5 kids.
